Completely redone by an interior designer, it has beautiful floors, fireplaces and refined decor. The living room has been completely redone and updated photos are in progress. The apartment is located on the Presqu'île, in the hyper-center of Lyon, 200 meters from Place Bellecour, close to Perrache train station and a few minutes walk to old Lyon. All local shops are easily accessible. You can enjoy your stay by moving around on foot or with the TCL (Transports en Commun Lyonnais). Two Vélov stations are less than 50 meters from the residence. Me and my partner had the best time staying in this beautiful one bed apartment a stone throw away from the bustling Old Town in St George. So many delicious resturants and boulangeries to choose from right on your doorstep. It was a great base to explore the whole city as was also very close to public transport and the river. We received lots of recommendations from the hosts too. Would highly recommend!

I stayed here for three nights and have a few honest thoughts to share. First, the place itself is beautiful, and the location is ideal for anyone wanting to explore Lyon. However, I wasn’t able to check in early, even though this is a paid option offered by the host. I later found out it was because the cleaning was still in progress. In fact, even after I checked in, the cleaning was still ongoing. I was told the delay was due to an unauthorised party held by the previous guest, which made the extra cleaning understandable. On the plus side, the cleaning team—who seemed to be around my age—were super friendly, and we actually vibed quite well. One thing worth noting is that the house doesn’t have kitchen utensils(fork, spoons, knives) which might be a drawback for those planning to cook. Overall, a beautiful place with a great location, but a few things could be improved in terms of preparation and amenities.
