Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Dog Ridge in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. this railway was established in 1899 and abolished in 1945. This railway is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for max. 6 pers. There is free parking, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

Holiday house in the yard of a farmhouse with lots of privacy. It is located near the woods where there is a beautiful swimming pool, hiking and cycling paths. Gasselte is known for its many mountain bike routes. You look out over the lands from the terrace and in summer the sheep walk with their lambs in the meadow. There is also a sweet dog Sjors, which you can sometimes encounter. In spring, a small cafe will be opened that will be open on Saturday from 4 p.m. to about 11 p.m.

This cottage has been lovingly built from reused materials. You have a private place with outdoor area on a 4 acre nature playground. On the premises is a swimming lake, survival lanes, sports field but also a lot of nature with many birds, squirrels, hedgehogs and much more. We are a wonderful place to vacation and where your children can play safely and casual outside. The grounds are car-free. In the cottage you will find a toilet, shower is within walking distance.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and ancient megalithic tombs.
