Welcome to the wooded Exloo, located on the Hondsrug in Drenthe. We live in the monumental train station of Exloo from 1903, on the NOLS railway line, from Zwolle to Delfzijl. This railway was established in 1899 and closed in 1945. This railway line is now a beautiful hiking trail! Next to our house is a completely detached and brand new renovated house of 2 floors with enough privacy and private entrance for up to 6 people. There is free parking space, and a private terrace in complete privacy.

"De Moera" Wooden cottage on nature grounds

This cottage was built with love from recycled materials. You have your own place with outdoor area on a 4 hectare nature playground. On the premises, there is a swimming pool, survival courses, sports field, but also a lot of nature with many birds, squirrels, hedgehogs and much more. We are a wonderful place to spend a vacation and where your children can play safely and casually outside. The property is car-free. In the cottage you will find a toilet, shower is within walking distance.

Borger ligt vlakbij de bossen en heide, ideaal voor natuurliefhebbers en wandelaars! Verken de omgeving via diverse wandelroutes zoals het Pieterpad en het Drenthepad. Voor wandelaars is er vervoer beschikbaar. Op loopafstand vind je ook het Hunebed Museum, dat een bezoek zeker waard is.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.
