My night at Elsbeth went very well, quiet and a soothing and beautiful landscape... She speaks French which is not always the case in Freiburg . And a warm welcome, I recommend it.

A very nice stay with Christophe's, very accommodating ,with exceptional hospitality! Very pleasant little touches, we were comfortably accommodated. Guewenheim is very well located for sightseeing in Alsace and the village has pottery well worth a visit. Do not hesitate to go there.

The stay in Balschwiller village exactly matched our expectations of calm and tranquility. The place was well equipped and clean. The activities in the area (hiking, visiting) are many, pleasant and informative. Valerie and her mother are available and discreet hosts, always listening to our requests. If you are looking for a stay in a quiet setting with a beautiful area, don't hesitate!!

Just great - no other words

We stayed with Dieter and Daniela for 3 nights. We also had our 3 dogs with us, which was no problem at all. Everything was clean and decorated with love, great garden, fresh eggs and a folder with information was ready. In addition, the two of us had time for a short chat when we met. It was consistently very positive and we lacked nothing. We will be happy to come back.

It’s hard to put into words just how special Florence and Heiner are. At first glance, you’ll be taken in by the breathtaking beauty of their home—the views, the garden, the immaculate cleanliness, and the delicious breakfast all speak for themselves. But what truly makes this place unforgettable is the heart and warmth of the couple who welcome you in. This was our second visit, and I already find myself hoping for a third. Florence and Heiner are among the kindest, most thoughtful people we’ve ever met. Florence even went out of her way to help us get to and from the bus stop, fitting it gently into her own schedule—a generous gesture that meant the world to us. While that kind of help can’t always be expected, her warmth and willingness to support us made our trip flow so smoothly. She also has a treasure trove of brochures and local guides for exploring every corner of Switzerland—ask for advice. And please, give Mordrid and Marilyn pats. They’re so sweet and we’ll miss them.

Our stay was wonderful! It is very peaceful and beautiful. We stayed with our children and there were many fun toys, swings and the best part - real family farm. We got to see cows, bunnies, chicken and kittens. Our kids got to collect eggs for breakfast each day. Heidi is a very caring, thoughtful and pleasant host. The house is modern, well equipped and decorated with beautiful artwork. Plenty of great coffee and place to bbq was a pleasant addition for parents. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

My husband and I stayed in Florian’s chalet for 2 months. Initially we would like to stay for a month, but we found there was a ski resort Thollon les memises very closeby, and we always had activities to do in the area. The location was very good, as I said it was not far from a family ski resort. Also, it was very closed to Evian, where the Evian mineral water that we bought from the supermarket comes from. Down to the national road, there was a lake leman, also it was quite closed to the Swiss border saint gingolph. There was also a big supermarket around 1km distance. Nice bakery and cheese farm shop in Thollon. Everything was very handy. The chalet was not very huge, however, it was compact. As we were from central London, it was a good size for us. The neighbour was brilliant. He was very helpful, and collected parcels for us everyday. Two months passed, we actually didnt want to move. We felt like home in Lugrin.

Neil was a great guide, he helped my mom and I plan our days out which was very helpful. The apartment is so close to the train station with restaurants nearby, the location can’t be beat

Lovely apartment in a quiet village on the outskirts of Black forest. Amazing views over the fields. Seats in front of the flat invite you to enjoy them. Flat is very well equiped and nicely decorated. Lisa is very nice and happy to help. She gave us few tips on what to do in the area and she was always quick to respond. We highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Jo and Vivot. The hosts are lovely and welcoming and the place is very well located in a quiet area overlooking a field. Despite the proximity to the main house, each has its own space. The housing has all the comforts you need. Even more, they did not hesitate to make a travel cot available so that we could come without being too loaded. Thanks again to both of them for their kindness

Really lovely modern apartment. Well stocked. Super comfy beds. Good aesthetic. Area has plenty to do and town is not far away at all. Would recommend. 5* As a wheelchair user, the apartment is rather accessible. Can recommend from that point of view also.

Jean and Beatrix’s place was perfect for a romantic getaway during our honeymoon. The area of Riex was stunningly beautiful with views of the Lac Leman. They had a great festival with wine and music in Cully when we were there. The place itself was fantastic and had everything we needed. Jean was an outstanding host with recommendations on swimming, food, wine, travel and was friendly upon meeting him. We also had passes that were provided for public transportation/discounts. He added a personal touch which I found to make our stay even better. Thank you Jean!

I had a very pleasant stay at Daniela’s: 1) the surrounding was very peaceful and feel safe and good bed ! It is very near airport and Daniela was kind to give me a lift to the airport as I had a morning flight. To Zurich, it is a train ride about 15-20min, you can get a 24-hour ticket if you are hopping places a lot on 1 day. Otherwise single trip was 3.5 CHF, trains run every 10-15 min daytime to Zurich. 2) Daniela bought me so much food for a person. Thank you ! 3) the only thing is that there is only one sink at the kitchen, no sink in the toilet. Either you brush teeth in the shower or the kitchen. And very clean. It has everything I needed ! Thank you for the great hospitality, Daniela !
