We were very doubtful about where to establish our residence, if by the Atlantic swells or rather by the coniferous forest on the skirts of Teide. Being fanatics of nature and sports, no matter if it's trekking, cycling, paragliding, golf or windsurfing we decided we would rather stick to the middle road, and in our search we bumped into San Miguel, a charming small town, away from the hustle and off the beaten track, still all amenities a short walk away. We surely found the perfect balance.

Abschalten und Natur und Ruhe genießen. Ob Meerblick am Pool, Sterne beobachten aus der freistehenden Gartenbadewanne oder bei einem Glas Wein auf der Terrasse den Sonnenuntergang. Hier ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Die Lage der Finca besticht durch die unmittelbare Nähe zu den Wanderwegen, der Waldlage und dem atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer. Die Fahrt zum Meer ist über eine asphaltierte Straße unproblematisch. Der nächste Ort, Cruz de Tea, ist über einen Spazierweg erreichbar.

The house is located in a quiet area with a rural atmosphere but with the advantage of being only 15 minutes away from the beach. The house is on the top of a hill and has a wonderful and clean panoramic view towards the sea. The sunsets are magnificent with La Gomera island on background.

El Refugio is located on the cliffs of La Matanza approx 250 m above the sea. It is located in an absolutely exposed position in the sun belt of the North and is also known as the sunniest community on the north coast of Tenerife. The nature reserve Costa Acentejo, with its circular hiking trail and path to the sea, starts just a few steps from the property. Relax in a calm, rural environment far away from the beaten track!
