Grand appartement. Très bien localisé. Avec la voiture louée, tout était facilement accessible. Le logement était humide et frisquet. L’hôte le contrôlait à distance. Quand nous avons pu clarifié ceci, nous avions une température agréable ! Très convenable. Le chien était adorable et nos hôtes très avenants !

My daughter and I spent a week here and I'm so glad we weren't tempted to explore any of the other islands. Sao Miguel is so beautiful and has so much to offer, especially if you like to get off the beaten track and are prepared to drive through narrow streets and walk up & down inclines! Lagoa itself has all you may need within walking distance, and access to a modern mall and supermarket within a short driving distance. We tried several of the local restaurants and were not disappointed with any of them. It is a seafood lover's paradise. The one that stood out for us was O Rui but it was a close race. Francisco's home is exactly as pictured and described. It is well furnished, with new appliances, a nicely equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view of the Atlantic ocean cannot be surpassed, especially from the top floor. Francisco was helpful and generous, and responded to our intermittent questions in a timely manner. We were so very sad to leave!

Alexandra ist die beste Gastgeberin, die man sich vorstellen kann. Sie ist sehr freundlich und zuverlässig. Das Haus ist fantastisch und gut aufgeteilt. Die Kinder hatten Spaß mit den Tieren. Ich empfehle eine Buchung und würde immer wieder gerne zurückkommen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d’une semaine en juin 2025. L’appartement est très bien situé sur l’île avec un emplacement central qui permet de visite aussi bien l’est que l’ouest. L’hôte est très accueillant et réactif à tout nos besoins. L’appartement est neuf et propre. La terrasse a une magnifique vue sur l’océan et sur la côte. Il est très agréable de prendre son petit déjeuner sur le toit terrasse. Je recommande.

Exactly as described. Celia met us there and it was Perfect check in. Comfortable, clean apartment. 20 minute walk to centre. Local bus stop within a few minutes walk. Some noise in the evenings but just day to day noise from the local community. Night time was quiet. We would stay again

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.

Our interaction was mostly with Jorge’s daughters which were extremely lovely and responsive. Because the place is very private, we met at parking lot and tailed their car to the apartment for check-in. It is a new building and everything inside is spotless and pristine, to the point we thought we were the first tenant. The apartment looks, in our opinion, better than the photos ! It was brighter and get quite a bit of sun. It has a private yard. Linens were clean. We were greeted with a welcome basket with some snacks and schnapps. Checkout was also easy. The location was remote - we definitely needed a car to get around. But we were okay with this and rather enjoyed the tranquility. It was a stretch of 4-5 units, and seemed like a small family business which we loved to support. We could tell they’ve put in a lot of effort and thoughts into the building and outfitting of the apartment. We would come again!
