Welcome to our guesthouse at Namsenfjorden We are glad that people are enjoying their time on our farm. They give feedback that they are finding peace and that the place has a lot to offer. In the guesthouse it is nice to just be or you can walk in the forest, on the mountain, along the country road or explore the sea life (boat/canoe/kayak) and try your luck at fishing. The guesthouse is small and cosy. Suitable for those traveling alone, but also for family/group, see photo for sleeping places. The house is disposed of alone. Pets are allowed.

Stay in a cabin on stilts out on the mountain and feel the feeling of “hovering over the water”. Cook in the cabin's kitchen, or on the fireplace out on the terrace. Feel the warmth in the cabin, when you fire up the oven. The experience of simple life allows for reflection and tranquility, close to nature. On the terrace you can enjoy a coffee cup and a good book in a hanging net built into the terrace. Close your eyes while hovering in the hanging net and enjoy the view of the 5 km long Byavatnet and Trondheimsfjorden.

The cabin is perfect for one or more families, or one or more couples. No partying or groups of people.

The Mirror Suite offers a stay close to nature and with an amazing view. Suite because it contains everything you need for a good stay, and more than that. The mirror suite has mirror function in two walls. You can look out but no one can see in. Not even the deer, birds, fox or moose wandering by. You live centrally, not far from shop and people, but still all to yourself. Lovely bathroom with shower and hot water. Private wood-fired sauna in a nearby house. The atmosphere can be nothing but good.

Actually this is all about atmosphere, slowing down and taking chances. And you might like it.

Cozy little annex

Cozy little annex for you/those of you who just need a place to sleep on the way from A to B. Includes three sleeping places. There is no possibility of cooking in the annex, but it is possible to grill outside when the weather permits. There is drinking water and kettle, coffee and tea in the annex, and everything else you need to have a simple meal. Evening food and/or breakfast can be booked with the host. Great log cabin with nice location in Grong ski center. Nice view, good lights/sun conditions. Ski in/out. Nice prepared ski slopes and marked hiking trails. Very nice year-round hiking areas in the immediate vicinity. Fishing opportunities in the salmon river and swimming facilities Tømmeråsfossen waterfall. Nice area for berry picking. 10 min to Grong center. 50 min to Namskogan family park.

Architect-designed micro-house in Overhalla.

Here you can experience living in an architect-designed atrium house. The house was built in 2018 and has a separate micro house for rent. There is a high standard throughout the micro house, which is about 40 m2. Tiled bathroom, private kitchen and large outdoor area. There are two separate bedrooms, one combined with sofa/sofa bed.
