Dar Megdaz - double room with shared bathroom

Dar Megdaz is a low-budget guesthouse with four bedrooms and a shared bathroom, shared kitchen, and three shared lounges. It is impossible to drive vehicles all the way to Dar Megdaz. The tarmacked road ends 400 metres from our guesthouse. Guests have to walk for six minutes over a rocky, uneven footpath in order to reach Dar Megdaz. If you phone us upon your arrival at the village, we will meet you and help you carry your luggage from the parking area to your room.

This accomodation is all about authenticity and hospitality. Mohammed and his family are offering a homefeel experience of everyday life in the Atlas mountains. The views and architecture of the villages embedded in the mountains are excellent. We were lucky enough to be here at the end of February when the blossoms are starting to show. I recommend this stay for everyone who likes some days of calm, authentic culture, and walks in nature.

perfect, the owner is kind and welcoming. just a few tip If you want to stay here. You have to go untill the end of the road, the position is not perfect. then ask the people, the village is small, everyone know each other. the place is peaceful and relaxing. about the house, you can't ask for something like an hotel in center of Marrakesh. but the hospitality, the peace, and the beauty of the nature is worth more. if is full, you can try to go there by car(suggest in the morning). maybe some other people can host you. but anyways is worth go there just for a day trip.

The hostel is lovely and neat located in a peaceful hammock. I just point out that the Auberge is not accessible by car. You have to park then go down and cross the river on foot and go up to the lauberge. It's no problem unless we have big luggage, and it's why the place is quiet. We had 2 nice bedrooms,but in one of them there was no hot water. I also point out that the host can make dinner, but the rates are very expensive.
