A modern Japanese-style vintage house, comfortably renovated by a Japanese interior designer using traditional materials such as tatami mats, shoji paper, sliding doors, and plaster, with a minimalist and contemporary design. In a space that retains a sense of wabi-sabi simplicity, a small dry landscape garden and the Ome mountain range stretch out before you, while at night, the lights of the atelier gently envelop your stay. This is a designer one-story home designed for “staying like you live here.” The house where Kubo Kan, the last master of movie poster art, lived has been renovated, and the design was selected as a finalist for the 2025 Modern Living Awards, a Japanese luxury interior design magazine. The “Ome Blue” culture thrives, encompassing indigo dyeing, textiles, sake brewing, and the arts in Ome. It naturally brings you closer to your travel partner. The surrounding area offers plenty of sightseeing opportunities, including Mt. Mitake, the clear waters of the Tamagawa River, experiences of nature throughout the four seasons, and walks through the retro Ome-Juku, known as the “Cat Town.” Even though it's my first time, I want to say, “I'm home.” Enjoy a special time surrounded by tranquility and culture.

Recommended for those who want to sleep on a futon in a tatami room. Transportation　 ・ 1-minute walk to the bus stop "Nakaodano". ・ You can get there in 10 minutes by bus from Takao Station on the Chuo Line. ・ 5 minutes by car from Hachioji Nishi Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. There is also a parking lot, so you can also come by car. ・ For those arriving by train, we will pick you up from the north exit of Takao Station to the house. ○ Nearby shops ・ There is a convenience store and a drug store within a 5-minute walk. ・ Restaurants such as yakitori and sushi shops are also within walking distance. ○ Nearby tourist attractions ・ Mt. This is a single rental villa with a dog run in Kiyokawa Village, the only village in Kanagawa. The Koayu River flows right next to it, and you can hear the pleasant sound of the river during your stay. From the large terrace connected to the living room of the fully renovated villa, the lawn and countryside spread out in front of you, creating a pleasant space. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can enjoy the best time in nature, watching the stars in an infinity chair, taking a bath in the open air after a sauna, and having a BBQ. The tent sauna has a rain cover on the chimney, so you can enjoy the sauna even if it rains a little. You can enjoy the private sauna with Satoyama Aroma Lowry as many times as you like during your stay. The terrace has an opening and closing awning, so you can enjoy a BBQ on the terrace even if it rains a little. We recommend that you stay overnight and relax in the sauna and BBQ during the day. The BBQ, sauna, pizza pot, and fire pit, which were previously paid, are now all free of charge. Firewood is also free of charge. There are many popular spots nearby that are frequently featured on TV, such as Miyagase Dam, hot springs, Ogino Bread Factory, Hattori Ranch, cafes, and tree adventures.

There is a calm living room and a Japanese-style room with a view of the Japanese-style garden. On the second floor, there is an 8-tatami Japanese-style room, a 4.5-tatami Japanese-style room, and a 9-tatami Western-style room with a piano overlooking the sea. Why not enjoy a cup of tea on the veranda while looking out at the ocean? There are many rooms, so enjoy a trip with your family and friends. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this is a quiet and calm environment where you can enjoy writing and reading. The kitchen is equipped with an IH cooking heater, electric pot, rice cooker, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, pots, dishes, and other necessities. There is a laundry room and a large drying space on the 2nd floor veranda. The bathroom has large windows and high ceilings, making it a pleasant space. Amenities such as toothbrushes, bath caps, cotton sets, etc. are also available. If the owner has time, we will pick you up at the station by car when you arrive.
