Sjøbo - Your own cabin by the ocean, Evenskjer

Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

A cozy cottage with an ocean view in a tranquil island, a place where you can start to explore the beauty of Vesterålen. My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. I would love to share those moments with all of you. Welcome to our place and make your own memory to bring home.

Stylish cabin with a panoramic view of the fjord

In this modern residence, you can seek peace and relax in a beautiful landscape. It is located rurally at the end of Eidsfjorden in Vesterålen, about 15 km from the center of Sortland. Suitable as a starting point for trips to Øksnes, Andøya, Hadsel and Lofoten. There are also great hiking/summit ski areas right outside the house. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.

Modern and fully equipped cabin with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Nicely located by the sea with a view of Gavelfjorden and Risøysundet. Enjoy a cup of coffee while Hurtigruten is passing by. It´s not unusual to spot eagles and mooses right outside the cabin. Andøya can offer great hikingspots, beaches, fishing water, hunting terrain and whale- and puffin safari and northern lights. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot with an amazing view. Glamping adventure! Walking distance to mountains and beach. Good opportunities for fishing for sea trout right outside the living room door. Cross country slope 100m from the cottage. Sun from early morning to late evening. The perfect starting point for an active and relaxing Lofoten holiday!
