Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Cosy appartment in a quiet neighborhood in Mosfellsbær. Many great walking trail and hike. Short from great nature and green area. Lágafellslaug is very popular swimmingpool its so nice to relax in a hot tip. Short from golfcourse by the sea side. Grocery store 900 meters away. One the best bakery in Iceland is also 900 meters away. Center of Reykjavík is 11 km away, you can take bus to Reykjavík no 15, it stops 2 min walk from us. Thingvellir National Park is ca. 30 min drive from Mosfellsbær.

Cosy cottage 2 close to Reykjavík - hot tub

The cottage is cosy and it has everything you need to make a perfect meal in the kitchen or you can use the gas grill outside the cottage. It´s close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. There is a free WIFI and on the veranda is a private hot tub where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light pollution here like in Reykjavik or in towns and therefore ideal location for watching the Northern Lights.

The area offers great hiking trails with stunning scenery.

During the summertime you can enjoy the spectacular and unique midnight sun in the pure Icelandic nature. We also offer guided hikes and northern light tours upon request.

Spectacular place´ Wake up to the ocean dancing, birds singing and seals right outside your window. Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. On the ground floor is a joint kitchen/living room includes a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen view is the sea itself. Toilet with a shower On the second floor has a bedroom loft with 2 queen size beds and one single person’s bed.

It's located in West Iceland with a view over Lake Eiðisvatn, the Hvalfjörður and the spectacular mountains around the fjord. Behind the small village of Melahverfi, which is signposted on the ringroad. Akranes is around 15 minutes away. In autumn and winter, this is also a good place to watch the Northern Lights. Although the view is wonderful, you can't help but see an aluminium plant a few kilometres away.

Our place is great for families, friends, couples and anyone who loves luxury (with breathtaking mountain view), comfort, luxury bed and linen etc. Close to popular tourist attraction such as Thingvellir, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon. Excellent brand new jacuzzi which is perfect at the end of the day. There is a very large wooden porch great for outdoor use the whole year.
