During our stay at Saleh's, check-in is very easy. At the foot of the villa a mouth-watering pool. The host showed us around our clean and efficient accommodation (fridge, freezer, oven, hair dryer...). Then Saleh invited us to drink tea on the roof where we could discover the beautiful red tile vaulted roof, typical of the region Bravo to Saleh who proudly told us to have built it with his hands. The view from the roof gives us a beautiful view of the Nile😍. Breakfast on the roof was also perfect falafel, cheese, omelette, foul... and cheap at all given the quality. The young man who served us was smiling and pleasant. Saleh kindly organized us a boat trip to the Banana Island, with Mahmoud who was our guide. The host offers different services just ask. We recommend and will have the pleasure to come back to Salah's place if the Lord allows it.

Very good stay. Thanks to Mohamed and Amandine for their welcome, as well as Hussein the caretaker! Amandine was a great tip for our activities. I expected at least in view of the price, I was very pleasantly surprised. Apartment is new. The big plus and this class in front, just for us! Having restaurants right next door is lovely. I will return to this apartment on my next trip.

An exceptional accommodation with open views of the Valley of the Kings from the terrace, bedroom and living room. Upon entering the apartment I was seized by the size of the latter: a large living room, a large bedroom with a double bed, and a shower that would make my small Parisian studio blush. Saleh was a remarkable and very caring host. Thanks to his experience as a guide, his recommendations have always been relevant. A very nice human encounter I would recommend it 100%

Dr Do’s place was absolutely stunning. Views of the River Nile and lush greenery. The host was hospitable and accommodating. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Staying at Mohamed’s place was truly a highlight of my trip to Egypt. He is a warm, humble, and incredibly generous host—always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From the very first moment, I felt safe, welcomed, and at ease. The location is absolutely perfect: tucked away in a peaceful area surrounded by banana trees, yet just a short 10-minute walk to the Nile and close enough to walk to nearby restaurants. It strikes the perfect balance between calm seclusion and easy access to local amenities. The room itself was cosy, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need—even a hair dryer, which was such a pleasant surprise! A really lovely stay. The apartment is spacious. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We were able to arrange some tours/transfers through the host. Great restaurant (wolf) 1 minute away. Rooftop is lovely in the evenings. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

Staying at Mons Villa was the highlight of my trip to Luxor. The villa itself is incredibly luxurious, nestled within a beautiful Nubian village that gives you a real sense of the local culture and warmth. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and elegant – with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on! Mon, the host, was beyond welcoming. From the moment I arrived, he treated me like family – arranging airport pick-up and drop-off, and making sure everything ran smoothly. He also offers an amazing sunrise hot air balloon experience, which gave me a breathtaking view of the Valley of the Kings. What makes Mons Villa truly special is that Mon personally takes you to hidden gems in Luxor that you wouldn’t find in a typical tour. His hospitality, local knowledge, and attention to detail made this trip unforgettable. Thank you so much, Mon, for everything! I genuinely enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The flat is spacious, spotless and you can’t go wrong with the view of Medinet Habu. Masrya, her Dad, and her Aunt extend a warm welcome and are pleasant to talk to. Masrya also is a great cook. Highly recommend!

We are sad we could only stay one night, it was very peaceful, surrounded by green. The house has everything you may need, there's a garden outside where you can sit and a balcony to see outside. Daniel and his wife were very welcoming, he gave us a lot of tips for the remaining part of the trip. We arranged with him a very good tour to the Luxor and Karnak temples that ended up with a boat across the Nile and a tuktuk that brought us to their house. Recommended for a very peaceful stay.

Fantastic apartment. Has everything you need. The view is beautiful and offers a bit of serenity compared to what you find in the city center and at many of the historical sites. The hosts are super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend taking a tour with them. They're both Egyptologists and will take you off the beaten track to see places with no other tourists. It was incredible to have tombs completely to yourself. Had a great stay!

I stayed here for a month and had a great experience. The apartment is spacious, well laid out, and ideal for two people as we each had our own private wing, which made it feel even more comfortable. The view is beautiful overlooking Luxor Temple and Sphinx Avenue, and the location is both central and quiet, with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which made it easy to work full time from the apartment. There’s even a nice cafe next door where I could work while still connected to the apartment’s Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are large, with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. Abdelaziz was a responsive and helpful host who made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a longer stay or remote work.

This place was one of the loveliest stays in Egypt. With a great view over the Nile, amazing breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. the service was really good and all the staff, especially Ashraf were very helpful and organised many trips for us including a sunrise balloon trip at very reasonable prices

Mahmoud is a great host. He even cooked delicious Chinese-style meals, spicy sauce included! He’s thoughtful when preparing food and always waited for everyone to sit down before opening the meal together. The rooftop is spacious, with beautiful views of the sunset and nearby fields. There's even a fun echo - you might find yourself singing up there without realizing it. Communication was smooth and Mahmoud was very helpful throughout the stay. Mahmoud could help to book hot air ballon for you with reasonable price, though due to the weather we couldn't make it at the end. There’s a free washing machine, a big kitchen, and the location is convenient - about 10 minutes' walk to the ferry, with plenty of restaurants around. You would likely be greeted by friendly local grannies along the way haha. One tip: during summer, the first floor stays cooler - the top floor can get a bit hot, which might affect the air conditioning. Would recommend staying here!

5 Stars! I had a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and even better than the photos. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy, clean linens. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, providing clear instructions for check-in and great local recommendations. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great place to stay while visiting the West Bank

Mohamed's place was great for us to explore all that Luxor has to offer. 15 minutes away from the Valley of the Kings and 20 minutes from Karnak and Luxor Temple. Mohamed was very kind and generous and the apartment has all the comfort you can want. We used the pool after our days of visit and found it very refreshing and relaxing. We loved being surrounded by the real Egypt in the middle of a banana field. It was great. I highly recommend Mohamed's place.
