Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. On the terrace, you can enjoy the sun from early morning to late evening and the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain areas. Not far from the cabin is Skogshorn, the most famous mountain in Hemsedal. There are also kilometers of cycling and hiking trails right in front of the door. In winter, the ski center of Hemsedal is located and has been named the best ski center in Norway for years in a row. Cross-country skiing is possible 300 meters away.

Hemsedal - Grøndalen. Stor, koselig familiehytte

Hytten ligger nydelig til på et lite "setertun" i solrike Grøndalen i Hemsedal ( ca 6-7km fra sentrum og 3-4km fra RV52 (avkjørsel fra Tuv)) Hytten stod ferdig i 2014 i stavlaft-stil. Med gode venner som nærmeste naboer kommer du til et fantastisk hyggelig hyttefelt som passer små og store. Med god utsikt over Hemsedalsfjellene, Grøndalen og Fagervatn kan man nyte både rolige og aktive dager her. Hytten har 5 soverom og passer fint for 1-2 familier på tur ( se mer info om hytten lenger ned)

Sports cabin at Hemsedal ski center

The cabin is part of Mølla Hyttegrend, a cozy condominium with many families, which is very centrally located within walking distance to Hemsedal Ski Center, ski rental, cafes, restaurants, spas, shopping, après-ski and cross country trails. Here you live practically at the foot of the ski resort and have access to all amenities, and freedom to choose different nature experiences and sporting challenges. Whether you prefer nice skiing, magnificent summit tours or a long day on the slopes.

Hemsedal - cozy Hallingstugu by the river Hemsila

Hallingstugu from the end of the 19th century is rented out to families and good adult guests. Stugu has a fireplace, dining area, lounge, nice reading space in loft, satellite TV and Wifi. Well-equipped kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom with WC, shower and sauna. Bedroom 1: double bed and loft with 2 beds. Bedroom 2: Warm family bunk in all floors. Porch with outdoor furniture. We rent linens and towels, and sell fireplace wood. (60 l. sack)

Short distance to climbing park, Hemsedal Rides bicycle for both small and large, Via Ferrata, river snorkeling, cross-country skiing, forest and mountain hiking, fishing, river swimming, sour restaurants. Fyri, Lodgen and others in the immediate vicinity. Hemsedal also offers horseback riding, guided mountain tours, local food, støl and farming. Distance to the ground. Easy to park free of charge for up to four cars.

Lovely Norwegian cabin - Room 4.

I would like to invite you to the cozy Norwegian cabin in the central part in the village called Ustaoset, 10 km far from Geilo. My place is good for a lot of activities, in the summer for hiking, cycling, fishing and in the winter for cross country skiing, snowkiting and much more. I offer either whole cabin for the families or bigger groups or private rooms (n. 1, n.2, n.3) with shared common spaces. Please read description of direction after reservation!

Log cabin - rebuilt by Thor Heyerdahl Sr., 200 YO

Thor Heyerdahl sr. re-built this cabin when the Bergensbanen was finished at Ustaoset. Some furniture came from their house at Larvik. The timber haul ensured that still today it is a very simple 800 m walk from the train station by the lake. Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet National parks can be reached by foot or bike. Several downhill and mountain bikes are in the shed. Elevation 1011 meter. During 2018 I have redone most rooms, 2020 outside.
