Barn holiday rentals in Alberta

Really enjoyed my time unwinding at “the barn”! Definitely worth the extra drive to meet and be hosted by Tom and Charlotte. Such wonderful hosts. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be back!

Claire and Michael's place was perfect for our group! It provided us with ample living, sleeping, and outdoor space to do a ton of different activities. The house is stocked with items you don't even know you'll need to make your stay even more enjoyable. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodated early check in to allow us to decorate the space before the bride-to-be's arrival. Loved it!

We loved staying in the barn! Colleen was very generous in providing us with eggs, cookies, fruit and bagels. She even brought us a bottle of local wine to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The setting is beautiful with a walking trail very close. The goats are incredibly friendly and fun to hang out with.

I am so thankful we ended up booking with Tom and Char. We had a quick stay, one night. We wanted to checkout nearby writing on stone and Waterton so we stayed here to break up the journey. This place is amazing, such fantastic history and architecture with the house. They were kind and shown us the photobook of the progress of them renovating the barn. I told my boyfriend multiple times it's basically my dream house. The atmosphere is so very serene and quiet, and most importantly the hosts are so wonderful and had great hospitality. The place is spotless and the decor is just amazing. The pumpkin waffles for breakfast were such a lovely icing on the cake of the stay. The other guests were very respectful. Tom and Char were very careful in regards to covid, which is greatly appreciated. The bed was so comfy and the sheets so soft. Honestly stays like this is what makes travelling so wonderful. I would love to stay there again and would certainly recommend. the hickory smokehouse close by has amazing takeout to enjoy on the balcony of the barn as well :)

We enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s house. Close to our family so we were able to visit and big enough to have them over for visits and dinner. Lots of dishes pots and pans to cook with. Loved the little g house and yard! Our puppy really loved the yard 🐾 Thank you Lisa

Joe's place is lovely and he is a warm, welcoming host. Everything was clean and the place is much bigger than the photos show. Some things to note would be that there is only one bathroom, is very conveniently located off of Naramata Road (unless car noise bothers you... it's not super busy) and has everything you need all the way to homemade cherry soap from his cherry farm. The farm is also close to many wineries and a short drive or ride to the Three Blind Mice mountain biking area (or the KVR if you prefer). Dinner out in Penticton was an easy and beautiful drive! Thanks Joe, for a wonderful stay!
