Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Alenquer

My friends and I spent wonderful days at the house. Everything was perfect and we have no complaints. The house is huge and clean, equipped to the smallest details, with an impeccable, heated and comfortable garden. Attention, as in the winter the pool is closed. We felt like family. The hosts were responsive, friendly, and the check-in and check-out are independent (we just had to follow the instructions). The village is beautiful and quiet, there are wineries everywhere and we even know the Adega of the Ti Nuno family. By car it is possible to take tours to Mafra, through the many cercanic villages and the Montejuno reserve (excellent for trails). We recommend this stay too much! See you soon!

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The house was quiet and so cute. The host was amazing. They even brought us fresh bread in the mornings! The location was nice because we wanted to travel to different locations like Nazare, Obidos, Sintra, and Lisbon. The house was centrally located for all of these destinations. The drive back to the house was extremely beautiful and you are able to see so much countryside. They brought us firewood when we needed and we were able to enjoy a lovely fire each morning and evening. The house has been amazing restored and is so nice. They had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends!

Hey, and this Airbnb is shockingly. The coziest place and the most high quality Airbnb I saw so far in portugal. A plenty of card games, every single essential for cooking you ever need to use, plenty of towels, even scissors, checkin is smooth, the host send a whole guide for area for restaurants to visit! The best experience! I extended on as much as I could on the other places this person hosts and if I ever travel to the countries where the host has airbnbs now I’m going to Switzerland feeling excited, wishing she had Airbnb there also

Thank you so much to Gabriela, Tereza and Friends! We had a wonderful stay!! The apt is so welcoming and very clean. The beds are extra comfortable with oversize pillows. The apt is situated in the corner with views of the ocean and the cliffs and big windows that open all the way as well as a patio to enjoy the scenery. The pool has views of the sea and was so comfortable and a great space for families to enjoy swimming. In walking distance are lovely restaurants and nearby is a beach restaurant. It’s a lovely space and we are grateful for the stay! Thank you for the hospitality!

The villa was absolutely lovely and in a great location. Andreia was a fantastic host and very responsive.

Elio was super responsive and flexible with check in. He also recommended some amazing spots to visit that were quiet. Overall super peaceful stay. Cannot recommend this place more if you have a car. The goat next door was the cherry on top!

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. My partner and I loved everything, the perfect location for a getaway for two , a day to day refuge, rest, relax, privacy , everything is possible in that space . Maria Antonia was very friendly at the reception. We reached the sunset to check in ... and we still had time to witness the birth of a horse on the farm ! Jose’s place is a little paradise in Alenquer with such an amazing array of flora and wildlife. The pool is large and well equipped with many sun loungers. A breakfast mostly made from produce grown within the gardens was made on the Sunday morning (the jam, cheesecake and carrot cake were particularly good, best we’ve ever tasted!) which was a very welcome surprise. Paola created some lemonade with Lemons and mint from the gardens and it was simply delicious. Jose even gave us five huge Sicilian Lemons to take with us once we left for home! We were staying for four days as we were over from the UK for a wedding which was hosted only 1km away, but we have to say this place would easily justify a holiday in itself. Everyone couldn’t do enough to help us, given my wife is 30 weeks pregnant and our overall experience of Jose’s place, Alenquer and Portugal was nothing short of beautiful. Thank you Jose and Paola for treating us like a King and Queen during our stay, we will never forget

We had a wonderful stay! The place is quiet, cozy, and beautifully kept — perfect for relaxing after a long day. I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, offering delicious homemade treats that made my stay even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and just as described. We absolutely fell in love with this house - we only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Everything was smooth from start to finish. João and Ana were amazing hosts, super communicative and kind. The home is immaculate and clearly put together with so much love and care. You have everything you need, tucked away in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature (and adorable animals). The pool is perfect on hot sunny days, the bedrooms are beautiful and cozy, and the beds are very comfy. Even the shower products were a treat. Ana’s recommendations for local spots were also top-tier. We’ll definitely be back sooner rather than later!

Wow what a place! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and didn’t want to leave. Francisco was fantastic, checking and making sure all was ok and that we arrived and settled in ok. Lovely to arrive to wine, jam, cookies and cheese along with receipting fresh bread most mornings from the baker. I got some great runs in around the area and felt perfectly safe whilst out on my runs. Thank you Francisco for the perfect holiday.

Both Mrs. Florinda and Paula were impeccable in the deal and a kindness with whom she wants to talk. They make us feel like home. The place is surrounded by vineyards and nature which, for those who are always surrounded by concrete is very good, is a change of scenery and calm !
