Tiny house holiday rentals in Alentejo

We spent a week at the "Quinta Kakelbont", which more than lives up to its name. The apartment is super sweetly decorated and spotlessly clean - everything as indicated and recognizable in the photos. Sjoukje and Carlos and their four-legged friends (4 dogs and 2 more or less small "mini pigs") give the whole thing a special charm. We were warmly welcomed and bid farewell by everyone. If we had any questions or recommendations, we always received a helpful answer and the contact via chat was also possible without any problems and quickly. If you prefer a quiet yet central location, you've come to the right place. Lagos is the next largest city, only 10 minutes away by car, to spend a day at the beach, do shopping, or relax in one of the countless cafes or restaurants. Both Nuno and Suze have been very hospitable. Always attentive to what we needed, making our stay much more pleasant and comfortable. They picked us up at a meeting point and guided us to the Tree House. A luxury in the midst of nature.

Passing through for 2 days, we discovered a peaceful place in the middle of nature, tastefully decorated. Very quiet place, superb landscape when opening the curtains. The accommodation was very lovely, everything you need was there. The surrounding garden was very pretty with a lot of flowers and plants and even 3 cute horses! Catarina was very pleasant, helpful and easy to communicate with. Her and her family were very nice. The only thing worth mentioning is, for noise sensitive people the fridge might be a bit loud. Thank you very much for letting us stay in the little house :)

The place is beautiful and very private—honestly even better than the photos! Unfortunately, I couldn't stay the full four days I had booked due to an unexpected situation, and I didn’t even get the chance to see the nearby lake, which I truly regret. My advice to anyone visiting is to come fully prepared, as the location is in the heart of nature. It’s a bit remote, and the road leading there is narrow. I recommend coming with a small car for easier access. That said, the experience is absolutely worth it. The place is peaceful, secluded, and the sound of birds all around adds a magical, calming touch.

Wonderful stay at this home. The beaches are a 3-minute walk away, it's a joy. The terrace is a real plus. The interior is clean and equipped with everything you need. The hosts are available and very kind! A rare gem

We had a great time at Casa Sobreiro. The accommodation is excellent and convenient for visiting lots of places. We loved the pool. We also thought the Buddha Eden garden which we visited on our way back to Lisbon was amazing and well worth a visit. Thank you Crissy and David for everything.

It was a wonderful stay, the property is large with lots of trees and forest. Lots of shade and seating. Tiago was super friendly and always very helpful, answered directly and took great care of the guests. The toilet was always cleaned and there was always enough water. The shower is warm and very pleasant. We really enjoyed the time and would be happy to come back!

Where do I start. Well first off, we arrived in the middle of the nationwide blackout. I could not text Paula that we were on the way nor did we have service to find the place. BUT we did!! And oh my, the place is gorgeous, right in the middle of the mountains. There was no electricity because of that national blackout but Paula was a star, sheltering us the best she could in a crisis! She’s such an incredible host. We drank wine and ate cheese, slept in the most comfortable bed and woke up to the miracle of electricity. STAY HERE. Even without electricity it’s the greatest Airbnb I’ve ever been to.

We stayed at Max’s place for two nights and can wholeheartedly recommend it. This is exactly what Airbnb was made for. You’re completely secluded in a small cabin in the woods that blends beautifully with nature. My personal highlight was the shower – right under a tree, yet with regular fixtures. The composting toilet is, as promised, completely odorless. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics, and the bed deserves a special mention for its comfort. Absolutely two thumbs up! Also within 20-30 minutes by car you have some beautiful beaches nearby.

The Airbnb is beautiful. Gorgeous. The nature surroundings are really nice. I had some electricity issues while I was there but it was just unfortunate. The container is super cozy and homey. I fully recommend staying here 🙏🏼

We spent 4 perfect days at Christoph's house. The house had everything we needed, very well designed, working in a super practical way. Christoph was one of the best hosts we've had in similar experiences. Super friendly, flexible and full of good stories to share. We recommend it 200% and we will definitely be back.

My best friend and I really enjoyed our 3 days at Elizabeth’s property. It was the perfect walk to the most lovely beach and we really bonded with the dogs. Very peaceful and the space itself was comfortable and clean. Would recommend to anyone staying near Ericiera.

An amazing property with outstanding views of the local area. The property was just perfect, all you could ask for, very clean well appointed apartment had everything you needed. The show stopper was the deck, private garden and view. Waking up in the morning and just daydreaming out into the distance whilst sat in bed with a coffee! The private pool was stunning, just what we needed to recharge. Would highly recommend this property.

Chantal is very quick to respond my messages and the dome is comfortable and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings and breakfast as extra option is very good value. If you come by car, you’ll need to leave large suitcase in the car as gravel pathway is not so easy to drag the suitcase through, and WiFi can be touchy, overall it’s an amazing place and fabulous experience, love it & excellent host. Karen and Jürgen are certainly among the most welcoming people I've ever met via Airbnb, it's the opposite of all these vacation home factories that clutter this website now! Here, the place is magical, quiet and inspiring, it really was a pleasure to discover this little house and we hope to come back as soon as possible. Karen and Jürgen, in addition to being friendly and welcoming, are people with a great sense of humor and it's very much appreciated. Thanks again for our stay!! PS: Don't listen to Waze to get there, and instead read the instructions they'll send you by .pdf this will save you from getting lost in the pampas, finally Jürgen will be happy to explain everything to you while joking about our adventure ;-)

If you are looking for peace and beautiful nature the "little house" is for you. Picking oranges from the trees in the morning was just magical! The sound of the bees humming in the trees, the little geckos and sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine was bliss. The total privacy, the stars at night and the hammock made for a perfect holiday. Perfect little cabin, super clean, comfy bed and enough kitchen equipment to make meals was just perfect. Great full sized fridge and freezer. I loved the little outside kitchen and bathroom. Jacqueline and Rudd were super friendly, flexible with check in/out. Beautiful Silves is a short drive away as are the beaches of the Algarve. It would be a good idea to print out instructions to the "little house" before you arrive as there is totally no signal en route to it. Stop off at the snack bar on the way for some great piri piri chicken! Also pack a freezer bag to buy frozen goods etc from the nearby supermarkets.

The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Perfect location - charming house - absolute calm - stunning views

We had a wonderful holiday in Timo and Christina's cottage! It is beautifully located in the middle of nature, so you can enjoy the silence and the sounds of birds in peace. It is close to the cozy town of Odeceixe and the beach. The cottage was nicely decorated and very complete, it has everything you need. It was clean and we even got a refreshment halfway through our vacation, which was really great! Christina and Timo are very friendly and gave us nice tips. They respond quickly to questions and are pleasant in communication. We would recommend this stay to anyone!

It is impossible not to like the space, the house, the garden, the environment, the pool, the privacy that can be achieved, the courtesy of those who welcome us, the refinement of every detail. An experience to have and repeat. Beautiful sunset from the snack bar. Possibility of late and completely unbureaucratized checkout. The mill is excellent for a faster passage (two or three days). The best houses for stays of more than 3 days. Other properties of the Selão da Eira are very tempting, although in my opinion they are for different stays - Casa das Rolas for stays for larger groups of guests and the Paraiso de Natureza for liberation from the daily hustle and bustle. Finally, a reference to the sympathy and availability of Mr. Tiago.
