The downstairs apartment is available for AirBnB guests. Our home is on the lake in the Foothills of NC with water sports in our back yard. Great atmosphere, views, lake, and R&R. The apartment includes one bedroom (1 king size bed, 1 queen foam mattress), a living room, an entertainment area with pool table and darts. It also has a full private bath. The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

Right on the lake. Enjoy the great sunsets unobstructed. Easy access ramp leading to the entrance door. Enter The living room Kitchen area. Two double sliding doors open to the large screened Porch were you can just relax and don’t forget the sunsets. The bathroom has a large walk in rain head shower The two bedrooms have full size very comfortable mattresses. A full size kitchen and a nice eating area. Two docks for fishing or just relaxing. Year round adventure is waiting just for you.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Secluded home yet close to town. Nestled in a quiet cove right off the main channel on Lake Hickory. It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. The house has its own boat ramp so if you want to bring your own boat you can. If not there are places to rent them from. Hope you come and enjoy our piece of paradise.

I am a travel nurse working a long contract and have stayed here for several months. Patsy and her husband are great hosts, super friendly, easy to contact with a quick response, and always willing to help with anything as I also work long overnight shifts. It is a very quiet location and very convenient to work. There are a lot of things to do and see not far away in surrounding towns. I would highly recommend staying here and would stay again.

A Sweet Retreat

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for the race at North Wilkesboro and this was conveniently located about 25-30min from our parking lot at the track. My husband and I kept saying that we could live there so easily; we just loved the place. Perfect place for a single person or a couple. Very clean, plenty of room, and very comfortable. Also had plenty of books and lots of board games in the living room. Had great wifi, husband enjoyed the Hulu, and had some great recommendations on the fridge for local spots (shoutout to Village Pizza). Lindsay was very responsive to every message. Will definitely consider staying here again for the race.

Cynthia's place was a perfect space for my husband and I visiting family in Hickory. She is incredibly responsive and pleasant in making sure you have a great stay. Would 100% recommend staying here. Very cute and comfortable space, met all our needs. AC stays nice and cold for those hot NC days and high shower for those who are tall. Very easy checkout which is always appreciated!

This is possibly the best and most beautiful place I have stayed. The house was beautiful inside and had anything you could possible need. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were top notch. Nice to sit on the front or back porch with your morning coffee where there were ample chairs for guests to relax. I plan to stay again whenever I’m in the area. Tasha was an amazing host and answered all questions quickly.

A great house with a beautiful view! We couldn’t have stayed at a better place to see our nephew play baseball for the Hickory Crawdads. The drive to the stadium was a quick one. Relaxing on the dock, kayaking and enjoying the fire pit made this even better. The main family and kitchen area with windows to the lake view is a perfect place to gather too. Owners are very responsive! We loved it and would stay again.
