House holiday rentals in Allegheny River

The pictures were beautiful, but seeing is believing. A comfy lake house with anything you could ask for. clear instructions, a manual with the house rules and instructions for check out. The bottom floor has ample room with a bar area, access to the back yard and beautiful views of the late. Having a laundry room was a great touch. The ground floor, where most of the rooms were located, has a family room with board games, ample space for sitting, eating with a group and cozy for watching movies. I was extremely impressed that they had a PS3 with Little Big Planet, we played that for hours after dinner. I highly recommend this beautiful home by the lake and will book again when I’m in town next season.

We had a great time! The house was just want we needed for a weekend get away. We were a little sad the weather didn't allow us to spend much time in the pool but it was just the right size and the outside fire pit was lovely for the evening. Far enough out of town to be peaceful but close enough to run to town incase we needed something. Jeff answered messages within a half hour and was very please to work with!

They were very accommodating for a last minute reservation. They were so friendly and very attentive. Always made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was extremely clean and very well set up. The pool was beautiful, clean and relaxing. Very quiet and beautiful neighborhood! The town was very close and we enjoyed the shops and farmers market. Love, Love, Love!! Will be back again!!

I really liked the space, both in the house and all around the outside. Inside many places to gather, relax, or swim. Outside something to do on every side of the house, campfire, pickleball, basketball, golfing…I could go on but my fav was up on the veranda looking out over the valley. I really liked the high quality bath linens. All in our group wanted to come back and the kids didn’t want to leave. The only negative voiced was the kitchen cabinets were so stocked that the only place for the food we brought was on kitchen counters.

We stayed at Coral Cove when we were in town for a wedding. The bedroom set ups were just what we needed & we were able to bring our dog with us. The house was just like the pictures & the neighborhood was very quiet & peaceful. The house is well stocked with towels, paper products, soaps, kitchen staples etc. Plenty of seating in the kitchen & living room & comfortable mattresses in the bedrooms. Overall it was a great weekend & Heather was very responsive to messages. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!

Beautiful & peaceful ! We had a great three days stay. Even with hurricane Erick. We felt right at home. A plus for me was to see the horses in the morning. Having a private pool was great. Well kept water so clear. Thank you, for sharing your wonderful place. Definitely will be back.

The place could easily accommodate 12 people! It was super clean and right on top of the mountain. Would stay here again!

Paul's place was perfect for my mother, brother and pups. It was extremely clean and well organized. It was in a quiet location. The only thing we had a small bit of trouble with was the incline/grade of the driveway. Fine for me, but anyone with mobility issues should be aware. Totally manageable. That's the area. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! Paul is a great communicator and an excellent host! Thank you again!

The house was perfect for 2 couples. Each has their own private space, and the community area in the living room has ample seating for all 4 of us and a couple visitors. The kitchen is well equipped, as well as the laundry area. I can't think of anything that Judy overlooked in furnishing/equipping this home. They are also in the process of adding another bedroom/bathroom, so that will be nice too. Judy is very responsive, helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this place to stay any time you are in Altoona!! Thanks for making this a great experience, Judy!!

From the moment we walked in we felt at home and so relaxed. The decor and colors throughout the house are not only beautiful but very peaceful. I joked that I need her to come decorate our home down in the DR. My daughter loved all the toys and my son's loved the games and basketball hoop. The beds were amazing. We had everything we needed in their amazing kitchen to cook homemade from scratch beef stroganoff. The fireplace outside at night was so nice. We sat around roasting marshmallows and talking with my parents. The hosts were very responsive and so helpful. We are so thankful we stayed there.

This was an incredible place to stay! The pictures do not do it justice. We loved spending our mornings drinking a cup of coffee and watching the river flow in the backyard and then relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying a bonfire. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and serene getaway. Jon and Lori were great hosts! Definitely booking again!

My fiancé and I just had an incredible weekend at Carrie’s home! Carrie was so friendly and even offered an early check in and late check out since there was no one coming in today so we could truly make the most of the weekend! She gave us a tour of the property and showed us how to work all of the amenities, dropped off a lighter and some cardboard for the fire pit, offered side by side rides around the property, and offered allergy medicine when my fiancé realized he had forgotten his! The house was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished and decorated, and was so comfortable to stay in! The bathroom was so nice and we loved the design of the kitchen! Outdoors was an incredible hot tub, a beautiful fire pit setting complete with firewood, and a nicely furnished gazebo that was perfect to play cards in when the rain came through! Not only would we stay here again, we will be staying here again, and we even joked about how much it would be to just rent and move in full time!

Amanda was responsive to every question I had, was willing to give recommendations to visit while we were in town. The back porch may have been one of my favorite aspects of this home. Being able to wake up and sit on the back porch and drink coffee while listening to the chickens and seeing the wild life. I would 100% stay here again. Amazing host.

Our family was just passing through. This little red house was a perfect and charming Ma and Pop style place to rest. Ralph made us feel right at home. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Great water pressure. Coffee amenities and extra toiletries made for a thoughtful, convenient stay.

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway, this is it. The GPS brought us right to the house. We saw 25 deer driving over from Pleasantville the 1st night and the driveway is somewhat scary. It's an old house but the layout was nice. Feels spacious. We were very comfortable. Had lots of little extras that made us feel at home. The hosts communicated quickly to solve an issue we had. Definitely recommend.

The house is a ten minute walk from the Gerard hiking trail in Oil Creek state park, and it was an easy twenty minute walk to the brewery in Titusville . We appreciated the friendly communication and the coziness of the house. It was so nice to relax on the couch and watch Netflix after a long day of hiking. We definitely plan to return :)

This place was beautiful and perfect t for our family ATV trip. We enjoyed the grill on the back deck as well as the fire pit. It was so easy to hop on the trail literally 10 yards away from the front door. Host was awesome, one of our members left behind clothes and she quickly sent them via FedEx to us. Highly recommend!!!

We highly recommend this wonderful, peaceful place. Will definitely check availability when we visit again. Loved the firepit and the hot tub. Got to use the grill for burgers with the family. The kids had so much fun playing pool and the games in the game room. We all had a wonderful time!

The back porch was like a nature preserve, we saw cranes, river otters, turtles and "yuck" snakes. They only thing we didn't like was TV and steep steps

The place was really cozy and peaceful. We were in town for our son's golf tournament at Latrobe Golf and Country Club and it was an ideal location from the course. The 12 minute drive was practically a straight line through the hills. Carly recommended some great places to dine. There were deer and rabbits in the yard each day. The beds were very comfortable. We wish we would've had more time there to enjoy more of the amenities. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would definitely recommend.

Helen’s house in Altoona was great! We had 2 adults and 4 kids, ages 15-3 and stayed 4 nights. There was plenty of space for all of us to stay. The kids absolutely loved playing air hockey upstairs and I’m convinced they would’ve been happy to stay there playing the entire trip. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated. It was renovated and it is so modern, you’d have no idea you were staying in a house built in the 19th century. The wood floors downstairs and upstairs were beautiful and looked original. It gives the house so much charm. The kitchen was a perfect size and there’s a huge dining table to seat everyone comfortably. Helen was great to communicate with. Any questions I asked were very quickly answered. The neighborhood was very quiet and even with houses all around, it was peaceful day and night. We definitely will be back to Helen’s place for our yearly vacation to Pennsylvania!

This was our 2nd stay at Little Lake Lodge. We are already booked for August! The Lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful location. The accommodations were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The lake was great for fishing and kayaking. The front porch is a great place to sit and relax. Do not hesitate to book Little Lake Lodge for your next get away. You will not be disappointed. Beth is a wonderful host that always responds quickly to any questions or concerns.
