Holiday rentals with lake access in Alver

Paul and Yesenia’s place is a fantastic find and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is breathtaking and the home is luxurious and comfortable. It is a three story, beautiful home directly on the water with a wonderful kitchen (very well stocked!) spacious living room, four bedrooms, three clean bathrooms and laundry with kayaks and a boat on a beautiful inlet. The hosts are responsive and kind. We would be happy to stay there again.

We were three generations who travelled to Øygarden in confirmation and were fortunate enough to find this cozy home. There was plenty of space, and very convenient with 2 bathrooms. Great for the kids, as there were toys both inside and outside, safe to let them out alone in the fenced patio, and there was a playground at the end of the road. We were lucky with the weather, and in the garden room we could open up and let in the sun until it went down into the sea. The place looks like new and modern. Short distance to the shop, 2 minutes by car, but also possible to walk on the footpath. Rigmor was very nice and helpful, and personally showed us around upon arrival. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice house with lots and lots of fantastic toys inside and outside for the kids!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Rune’s place. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The surrounding property is beautifully maintained and has a lovely garden. The beds are comfy. And to top it off, there is a working wood burning fireplace! This Airbnb was one of the best we have stayed at and we will hopefully be back sooner rather than later.

Quite possibly one of the best hoilday rentals we have ever used, would highly recommend it. We loved being able to use the boat and the local environment.

If I could give this stay 10 stars, I would. Helga and her family are outstanding hosts who will go great lengths to make your trip memorable. The location of the house is unbelievable, peaceful and private. Everything was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the backyard was a dream for our 3 children. The living room is spacious and comfortable, the rooms are cozy and have blackout blinds and curtains for maximum comfort. There’s a river walking distance where my son enjoyed fishing. Grocery store is 20min away. Helga treated us like family, invited us to get immersed in the local festivities and made sure we were having a good time. She’s by far the best host we have ever had. Our trip to Norway was unforgettable mainly because of her recommendations and the complete comfort her house provided. Thank you for such wonderful experience. We hope to be back!

Great cabin for big and small, there were 12 of us and had plenty of room. One room took a whole family mtp number of beds, otherwise it was good size also in the other rooms. A little floor cold, recommend bringing slippers in winter. Perfect space for New Year's Eve celebrations for dogs who are not too fond of too much fireworks.

We spent a weekend at the apartment and felt very comfortable there :) The flat was very clean, the interior very cozy and the kitchen had everything you might need. In the bedrooms the blinds make it very dark at night, which is very helpful in the summer. We also really appreciated the calm surroundings, perfect for hiking!

We had a great weekend at Guri's apartment! It was tidy and well equipped with everything you need. The view is great and two terraces are nice when we could move after the sun! It's also nice to swim there due to a swimming ladder on the nearby jetty. We would gladly came back!

We had a lovely stay at Miranda's apartment it was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Miranda communicated excellently and we were really comfortable and overall really enjoyed our experience. The projector was a special treat along with the Norwegian snacks that were kindly left for us. Thank you for a special stay.

The apartment is very nice and fully equipped. It is very cozy and we immediately felt at home. You can prepare meals very well in the kitchen. There is even an oven and a real freezer. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. The view of the mountains is very nice. You can also walk to a lake and go swimming. The nearest place for shopping is about 3 km away. As a starting point for our visit to Bergen, we deliberately looked for accommodation outside. We were very happy about this, as Bergen is also very busy in June. We can recommend the apartment and would stay there again at any time. Anveig welcomed us very kindly and explained everything.

The apartment looks different from the photos, but is decorated in a similar style and very nice. Everything was clean and tidy. Olianne was always available for questions. Glad to come back!
