Holiday rentals with a pool in Alvor

We loved our stay at the villa. The garden & the views were amazing. It was perfect for children. The pool had gate, a big plus for security. We liked that there was the possibility to heat the pool (we went end of April - beginning of May). The dining area outside was so nice. The kitchen was fully equipped. The interior design was spotless. Modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, with an authentic feel. You need a car to get around. Everything was close by (5-10 min by car) : beaches, restaurant, supermarket, etc. The host were super responsive. To sum it up : it’s a perfect place for a family vacation!

We spent 5 nights in Mariana's cottage and felt very comfortable there. A small oasis of tranquility. We were able to make good use of the outdoor lighting, especially the pool. There were enough different areas. The private terrace on the first floor was wonderful and private. We only used the kitchen for breakfast, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would come back.

We travel with our family every three years. This year was Portugal. We spent one week in the Algarve at Steve’s home. The home was perfect for eight adults, four children and two infants. The house had a great layout for a big family. The pool was wonderful so relaxing every afternoon to come back and swim. Steve and Nathalie were great house. Great recommendations for food and activities, including car rental rentals. If we come back to Portugal, we would stay here again thank you for a fantastic holiday home.

Carmo's place was in a superb location in Lagos -walking distance to everything. you will not be dissapointed as teh images of the property do not lie- its exactly as it looks. Communication was great, if we came back to Lagos we would stay again for sure. Thanks, Lloyd

Perfect place in the most beautiful setting! Peaceful and quiet yet only a short drive from locals towns with loads to do! We had everything we needed, the apartment is very well equipped (so grateful for the cot and high chair!) and spotlessly clean! Thank you to everyone involved :) we had a brilliant stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Isabelle and Philipp's place! Everything was perfect - check in was easy, the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed, the views are stunning, and the location was perfect (about a 10 minute walk to town and the beach). We had a few questions about the pool lights and Isabelle always responded within minutes. Isabelle also shared several recommendations for nearby beaches, restaurants, and excursions and every single recommendation was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!!

We stayed at Isabel’s villa for 9 nights, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. The villa is fantastic - much better than the pictures, well equipped with everything you need and very spacious (big rooms, lots of outdoor space, bbq and a big pool). We paid to have the pool heated which was beneficial as some days it was a bit chilly. The villa is fairly remote, we had cars but also used Ubers to get around. It’s about a 3-4 min drive to the nearest supermarket and a 5 min drive to the main town and beach. Isabel recommended some day trips and local restaurants, all of which were great. She was also flexible with check in and check out times which was super handy with the kids, and was very responsive throughout the trip when we had questions. We’d 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and hope to return!

Marco's accommodation was really great. 9/10 points - why: I thought, according to the photos, that it was the neighboring house with a pool. We were on the first floor and actually I prefer to stay on the ground floor with my 5 year old son, which unfortunately was not quite clear. Top was: not even 5 minutes walk to the beach, great restaurants on the beach, expensive supermarket just around the corner. The apartment is super clean and the kitchen has everything you absolutely need for self-catering but nothing more, no pasta strainer and no lemon squeezer, for example. Tableware also minimally from the number of pieces (6 glasses). Marco and his mom are super nice and helpful at check-in, furthermore we did not need them, as it was not our first Portugal vacation. Price-performance with pool top - you can't rule anything out. Portimão is a great location, 50 minutes by car from Faro Airport and 30 minutes from Lagos. Best regards, Jessica & Family.

Bruno’s place was exactly what was advertised. 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Europe and 10 minutes to city center. Perfect for my family and our short trip to Lagos. Bruno communicated daily and gave some tips about what to do in Lagos. Overall a great stay and would book again.

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

This is a spotless apartment in a beautifully maintained estate. Excellent, popular restaurant on site and a fabulous pool and pool bar. The apartment is spotless, spacious and very well equipped.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!

I completely endorse the comments that other guests have made. Ingmar’s apartment is a complete home with everything anyone would need for a relaxing stay & offers value & quality. The location is excellent, a hire car is not really necessary as there are bus stops just metres away for trips to the east & west Algarve. For those who like walking the location is perfect for ambles along the coastline & to beautiful beaches. Alvor with its varied restaurants, fantastic beaches & long boardwalk is a must visit. The 3 brothers beach & its restaurants, Sol & Sombre & Canico offer excellent food & a lovely place to swim & sunbath especially if you have children. A day spent there followed by a walk back to Ingmar’s apartment makes for an enjoyable day & a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. For those who like a lively nightlife head to Roche. Ingmar is a up there with the best super hosts.

We had a great stay as a family for over a week. The apartment is lovely & bright, very clean & well equipped, with good aircon and a balcony overlooking the pool. The complex itself is modern, safe and has a really good sized pool area. Location was brilliant, a short walk to the supermarket, beach / boardwalk and town centre - everything you'd need! Lovely welcome & communication from host.

Carlota’s place is located in amazing Villa with beautiful surroundings! Amazing beaches to get to and her local recommendations were excellent ! The pool was great but unfortunately due to the weather it was a bit too cold to use and shower facilities were under construction. The only downside is the bed option, as described from the picture, the main bedroom is with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. One big bed would’ve been more comfortable but breathtakingly beautiful view makes everything ok. We had some issue with laundry machine as it wasn’t in a good condition but we cleaned it and bought strong scent laundry detergent made it usable again! Wonderful memories from the beautiful landscape and activities and especial thanks to warm and heart full neighbor downstairs! Thank you again and it was a pleasant stay!

This villa was absolutely stunning and very spacious for a family holiday. The garden area full of tree’s and nature and swimming pool was beautiful and huge. The location was so convenient close by car to everything. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook own meals. We really enjoyed our stay, will definitely be coming back to stay here! Thankyou so much!!

This house was actually better than the photos made out!! We were blown away with how gorgeous the view is, you can see the sea! It was really clean, beautifully bright and had an amazing swimming pool. Just be careful as the tiles can get a but slippery. We were with our 18 month old nephew and it was a bit too slippy at times. There was so much space and the host was super responsive even giving recommendations for resturants and beaches. We requested and early check in and late check out due to flights of some of our party and they were happy to accommodate where they could. Super close to super markets about 15 mins into Loulè by car and 25 mins to villamoura. Not much you can get to without a car but we hired a car and used uber all the time it wasn't a problem. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again!

Incredible stay in this beautiful villa hosted by Wilson. We had such an amazing time! The view is simply magnificent, there is plenty of room and seating areas to enjoy it every minute of the day. We had the pool heated and it was totally worth it. Note if you are travelling with kids, there is a small separated part of the pool that is PERFECT for toddlers. Wilson was such a great host, starting from the Booking. He gave us plenty of suggestions and tips to make the most out of our stay and he welcomed us with a welcome basket which was much appreciated as we just arrived from our night flight. Everything was super clean and there was even everything you need to enjoy the pool and the beach with kids. Don’t look further, if you have a car, this villa is the best base to explore the Algarve. We would happily come back!

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. The pool and sea view are definitely a plus. Well located it allows easy access to the sites of interest in the surrounding area (Faro, Quarteira, Falesia beach, Val de Lobo.... I highly recommend.

The place was just perfect, nice quiet location, yet everything easy to get to. The beach was a good 10-minute walk and only a few minutes by car. In the neighborhood are supermarkets. Lagos and Lutz are also a few minutes away by car. The pool is quite nice. We would come back. 😍🙏

We had a wonderful holiday, a much needed peaceful and enjoyable time. The house was well situated, not overlooked at all. This meant that we could enjoy the pool whenever we wanted. My (older) kids absolutely loved it and have insisted ‘our next holiday cannot be in a hotel’. We hired a car so we did lots of exploring. The Intermarché supermarket was fantastic but there is also a well stocked Spar shop a walk away. The house was very clean and tidy, the kitchen had plenty of equipment, including a dishwasher and a large fridge. It isn’t shiny and overly modern but that simply added to the charm. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here as a family with my mother and father in law also. So much of space for the 6 of us. The games room was a great place to spend the evenings playing pool and darts. The swimming pool and outdoor space was fabulous. The kids were rarely out of the pool and loved the paddle board that was available for them to uses. Kids also loved picking grapefruits for breakfast and lemons for our drinks. Slightly issue with one of the toilets being out of order and the water going off (due to nearby construction) but host had forewarned us this may occur. We had a lovely family holiday.
