Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Ampara

We found a really nice place in Ella, just close to the centre but in a quiet zone. Nimal was really nice with us, reccommended lot of things to do and visit around. We also had a nice cooking class with him that it was really interesting and nice. I highly recommend this apartment Many thanks Nimala :)

Perfect location with an short walk to Ella centre but far enough so that every night spent at the accommodation was quiet. Hosts were very helpful advising us with the best way to get to our next location which saved us a lot of time and money. Laundry service was also excellent.

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

Lovely place, just next to Ella city approx 800m away. Near train tracks but it’s not at all disturbing. They were amazing host. They picked us up far away from our location and also helped us in dropping at Colombo International airport. Always recommend others to check on this property as everything is very nearby

Poorna's villa was beautiful. It was spacious, clean and with all basic amenties. Host was extremely friendly, and extended help in whatever we requested for , instance arranged laundry services etc. Breakfast spread was decent with coconut roti, breads, egg, juices, fruits, coffee/ tea. Poorna's wife also showed us how they make Srilankan rotis. Overall fantastic stay and highly recommend family with kids.

Dawn and his colleagues went above and beyond to make our stay as great as possible. Dawn was an incredibly helpful and a very responsive host. He was very kind in organising a number of tuk tuk/taxis for us and also provided some brilliant reccomendations. The breakfast was very delicious and the view from the homestay is very beautiful. Room is as shown on the pictures. Thank you so much again!

Gerard is super friendly and very helpful at all times. Everything was like subscribed. The location got a very beautiful view. Most attractions are nearby also.

The river is incredible to bath in , this is the highlight for me & my friend. The beds are very comfortable The bathroom is a bit old & dated but functional The kitchen is functional, could do with another good pan to cook, and gave this feedback to owner Owners parents live across the yard

Awesome Place was exactly that... awesome. between the stunning view, the pristine , quiet surrounds and the wonderful villa, this was a dream. 6 of us travelled here for some serenity and we found it. Krishan was a fantastic host in the restaurant and took good care of us. come for the view, stay for the food, atmosphere and team working here. a dream

We had a fantastic time staying at Jasmine house. As we work online, having SLT fibre was perfect, we would definitely recommend this place for digital nomads. The space was private with a lovely front outdoor area/patio where you can relax and admire the langurs, roosters and many adorable cat visitors. Inside the home was perfect and cosy but spacious at the same time, the furniture was quite new and it was thoughtfully set up for storage. Had good aircon and ceiling fans so we would rarely need to use the aircon. Walkable to multiple beaches and the main strip of restaurants and bars, but tucked away in a quiet, quaint local street which was ideal for us. We fell in love with the cats! If in Abay again, we would definitely be staying here.

We enjoyed our night stay at Murali place. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood and it feels very safe. Minutes away from the beach. The couple is very welcoming and made us feel like home. Our three children enjoyed all the fish feeding . We will be returning in 2 years ,2021

What an amazing place, in a beautiful area of the island. From the moment we drew up to the gates of the Dutch House, we were greeted by the most gorgeous Dutch villa, and the all-pervasive smile of Kannan, who looked after us like members of the family during our stay. The house sits high on the hills outside of Bandarawela, up a short, but very steep road, which gives it a great vantage point over the surrounding lush hills and mountains. It’s a great climate so a gin and tonic on the veranda was a joy. We made use of the pool, and although not heated, you soon get used to it. The surrounding gardens are very well kept and have a plethora of birds and other wildlife. The food prepared by the on site chef was wonderful, as was the attentive service from Kannan. We also had the best sleep we've had during our trip. Even if you’re not in the immediate area, a drive here and a stay in this wonderful house, will surely be one of the highlights of any trip. It was for ours.

We met Aji at the property who was very friendly and accomodating. We really enjoyed staying here. It had great views, the property was spacious , clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for having us! Kadie & Billy

We can only recommend staying in this Villa. It is very quiet, but still close to the main street with all the restaurants and surf shops and has three private rooms, a basic kitchen and living area. The communication with the host was easy and his father was close by to help with any issues. The only negative aspect was that our room wasn't cleaned propperly. Probably that was because we were there at the beginning of the season and it had been empty for a longer time. The rest of the villa was clean.
