Holiday rentals with lake access in Amsterdam-Centrum

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had great days at Richard's house! The location is excellent, nice and quiet and with the lake of course great for refreshing. We rented the boat and also spent a nice time on the water and the larger lake. The house has everything you need, air-conditioned rooms were perfect on the hot days. Sitting together on the terrace by the lake in the evening, great! You can't go wrong with the house and would book it again and again.

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

Very nice location, very close to the center. It is important to mention that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the wider area by public transport. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet environment and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

We were totally satisfied with the small vacation home, everything was as described, very clean and beautifully furnished. The location is also great, neither the beach nor the city center of Amsterdam is far away. The direct environment is very quiet and close to nature. Gladly again :)

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. We had a great time. The house and the facilities are great, everything you need for a relaxing stay is there. Everything was clean and tidy. Unfortunately the house was very cold when we arrived, the underfloor heating takes a while to warm up. If you arrive in the evening or in the dark, the access to the first jetty is a bit difficult to find, maybe a sign would help. But we can only recommend the house and will certainly come back again.

Very nice rental, very quiet and very pleasant environment!! Everything was perfect!! Only small downside is the beds are in the same room!! A sofa bed is missing... otherwise I recommend it!!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Sabine and Sander’s place. The location is ideal - very walkable to everything and close to multiple buses. They had many pans to use and a five burner stove, so cooking was easy. It was very quiet and peaceful. We miss it already!

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at Kevin and Kim's beautiful home. The place was fantastic and exactly as advertised. We felt right at home immediately in their immaculately clean home. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. It was close to busses, the grocery store and the lovely shops and promenade in Volendam on the water. Amsterdam was only a 20 minute bus ride. Kevin greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Truly a great experience. I would book with Kevin and Kim in a heartbeat again should our travels return to Volendam.

the neighborhood is quiet and very nice

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

Very nice apartment in apartment complex, upper floor (attention-steep stairs!), secluded, located in the middle of the dunes and therefore very quiet. Good amenities, very clean. Two balconies that offer a fantastic view of the beach and the nature reserve. Very friendly landlady; the communication was super pleasant and uncomplicated. Highly recommended!

The apartment was exactly the same as in the photo, Robin is very nice to talk to. The apartment has a very beautiful view.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the view. The cottage was clean and tidy and equipped with everything. The view was amazing. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow it, but the beautiful moments we were able to sit on the terrace and the jetty. We stayed in cottage # 5. Highly recommended. Good beds and full equipment in the kitchen.

Lovely stay at Rudis cottage.After two weeks travelling around Europe we wanted a couple of night to relax and this was the perfect place. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and Rudi even brought us a fan when the temps hit 31 and the place was so hot. We were lucky to have a storm and be able to watch out over the nature reserve was amazing. We also ate at De Heeren van Maarssen nearby and the food was beautiful.

Beautiful house and perfect host!

Best location for access to Edam. Steps away from the cheese market. Ample parking for an SUV. Bathroom on par with American standards - nicer than most European bathrooms. Washer and dryer are full capacity. Enough sleeping space for a family of six. Playground in front of house. Hosts nice and responsive. Cobbled roads and narrow homes do make Edam not ADA friendly like much of Europe.

Angelique was a good and friendly host. She greeted us right on the street, so we didn't have to look any further for the accommodation. The cottage is very lovingly furnished. The location on the water is really good. You have your privacy here. We were also very pleased about the food provided. We had a very nice time.

It is a beautiful accommodation with a view directly of the lake. The accommodation is small but it offers everything you need and we felt very comfortable from the first moment. There is also a parking lot directly opposite and very good restaurants and shopping nearby. It was a dream to wake up every day with a view of the lake. If the weather is good, you can also go swimming there. Will definitely be back :)

Mechteld and Remco welcomed us wonderfully to the accommodation and picked us up by boat. The location of the house is perfect for a quiet and above all relaxing vacation by the lake. The house can only be reached by boat. There were four of us traveling and we all had enough space in the house. We were allowed to use everything the shed had to offer and were busy every day with boating, paddle boarding or swimming. We had a wonderful stay there and enjoyed the days on the terrace very much. In addition, day trips to Amsterdam or Utrecht are highly recommended, as it is never more than 30 minutes by car. Will definitely visit again.
