Mama Yeya Raices in San Cipriano is a delightful retreat. Although reaching it required a scenic boat ride across the river, the journey is well worth it—especially if you’re passing through Córdoba and catching a moto-taxi to San Cipriano. The room exceeded our expectations compared to the photos, featuring a protective mosquito net over the bed that ensured a restful night. The bathroom was exceptional, and the cabin blends beautifully with its natural surroundings, from the fluttering butterflies to the vibrant garden. Best of all, the included breakfast was simply delicious.

Bon emplacement, logements simples un peu rustique genre auberge de jeunesse, ce qui permet de rencontrer du monde. Une fois surplace prenez un guide pour faire le tour des cascades et descendre le Rio en donuts. J’étais avec Laura et c’était top 👍

Palms Real is a beautiful, modern hotel with a rustic feel on the Pacific Coast of Colombia in a small village. From booking onwards, they communicated with me via WhatsApp and gave great advice on getting the boat from Buenaventura, then a mototaxi to the hotel from the dock. The beach is public, but they have a private access staircase and it was very quiet. My room was comfortable, the bed was a bit firm, but I slept very well thanks to the air conditioning after hot days, and the bathroom met all my basic needs. There are bugs and geckos here - you are in the jungle! This did not bother me at all and geckos may appear along the ceiling in your room each evening. There is a small restaurant affiliated with the hotel and you can order your meals for the morning or evening in advance, choosing from a couple of options. For the location of this hotel outside a town that is still developing with dirt roads, it is a gem and the price was very reasonable. Hammocks and a clean pool from which to watch the sunset were a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and even set me up with one hour's notice for a 6-hour private boat tour through the mangroves to the ocean, complete with dip in a clear pool, for a small price. I felt very safe in this town, even at night. Buenaventura and the dock at Juanchaco leave little to be desired, but the people along Ladrilleros are friendly and welcoming. If you are feeling adventurous and want to tough it out along a remote corner of the Pacific, this is the perfect place to clean up afterwards, relax on the beach, eat, and rest your head.

Es un hospedaje excelente en San Cipriano, de lo mejor que hay en la región. Las habitaciones amplias, cómodas y limpias. Incluye un desayuno muy rico para iniciar tus actividades. Muy bien todo. 5/5
