House holiday rentals in Andros Island

Chauncy's place was a very nice out-of-the-way quiet peaceful place. We really enjoyed the outside space, especially the pool. The pool was a perfect size for a relaxing break in the day. The location was really good for being near most everything needed. Plus, if you rent a car, like we did, it really opens up a lot of different areas of the island that you can get to. The place had everything we needed, the two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a very nice size place to enjoy the Bahamas. We will definitely be staying there again, and soon.....

Beautiful home, the photos don’t do it justice. It worked so well with a larger group. It was nice to have a bit of separation with the downstairs bedrooms having a bit of living space as well. The pool was fantastic as were the views.

This is our second time staying in Palm Cay and we thoroughly enjoyed it once again! The weather didn't cooperate the first day or so, but once the sun came out we were in paradise! Maggie and her team were super communicative to our messages and questions. We appreciate their efforts to make sure our stay was a great one! Glad to know additional pools were available to us as guests as we didn't opt to pay the extra fee for Club access.

Sonja's place was exactly as described. It was the perfect accommodations for our family. The beautiful landscaped yard and the pool was so enjoyable to relax in. Sonja was very helpful and even met us to check in. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone visiting the Bahamas. 10/10!

John's place is truly heaven on earth. Walk outside and right into the beach and ocean. The beds, rooms, amenities were all fantastic. The site manager was very quick to respond to inquiries. If you come here and you want to explore, I highly recommend you rent a car (we did). It is on the quieter side of the island which was a welcome benefit. We would certainly come back.

Spencer and Melissa's place was a perfect getaway for our family vacation. Their place is in a beautiful, private and peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of the island. From the moment we arrived Spencer was responsive, showed us around the place, and responded to any follow-up we had. He was extremely flexible and kind - one of our family members was a bit limited on mobility and he showed us a different entrance with fewer steps to access. The place was clean and homey. Spencer provided great recommendations for local shopping (Super Value and Solomon's Fresh Market) and everything was in easy driving distance (he also provides reusable bags for your shopping trip!). We found it easy to get around and it was a great starting point for all of our activities. The private pool was a lovely addition and we used it often! All in all, a great experience with a great host. A+++

We were staying at this apartment before getting ready to sail for a week, it was the perfect place to stay to relax before our trip on the water. It would also be great for a longer stay as you have all the amenities to use right there at Palm Cay Resort (pool, bar, restaurant, beach, etc.) Additionally, Sandrina was an extremely proactive and responsive host for any and all needs we had during our stay. She strived to make our stay perfect and was both flexible and accommodating. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay with a small private beach area in the Montague area. The house is not perfect but it is well taken care of. I say not perfect because it does have some small imperfections, but nothing that takes away from the experience. The host/hostess were very responsive when contacted and they assisted with any questions and recommendations of local eateries. We felt right at home and met some of the neighbors in the neighborhood who were just a delight to talk with. Our kids loved the private beach area where they could swim, kayak, and paddle board. Just keep in mind there are upside down jellyfish in the area. As mentioned in several other comments, there are dogs at the next door neighbors and they did bark occasionally. Keep in mind they are dogs and it’s natural for them to bark. The barking was not enough to bother us. Overall, we would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the island life.

We were a party of 6, and all enjoyed our stay! THE SPACE The space is large with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is plenty of couch seating for comfortable and relaxing lounging. The kitchen table is also amazing for a nice big family dinner! The beach towels that were provided were quite handy. NEIGHBORHOOD It’s about a 12 minute walk to Cable Beach, which was incredible serene, and there were surprisingly barely any people when we visited (MDW 2025). The water was sparkling clear and so lovely to dip into. We did rent a car which was convenient (not necessary) for driving into downtown / Atlantis. The only thing I would request is higher water pressure for the shower :)

Nebruck house was amazing! Sandyport is a quiet resort which was just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. It was easy to walk to restaurants, the kids loved the pool and beach and having access to the resort amenities was fantastic. Having a spacious condo with multiple bathrooms and showers made all the difference after long fantastic days in the sunshine. We loved our stay!

My husband and I were very happy here. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable and it was great to have a full kitchen and a washer dryer. We were able to walk to a grocery store, a Starbucks, and Meze Grill for dinner. We could walk to a little beach called Relax Beach. We also took the bus to Goodman’s Bay. It was nice not to have to rent a car. The hosts are very helpful!

We had an unforgettable stay! From the moment we booked, Derek and Portia went above and beyond. Derek was super responsive during planning, and Portia helped us find a rental company that would work with me being 21. She also checked in during our flight, greeted us at the house, and even offered to take us to get food. That night, she drove me to a liquor store, showed me the best local spots, and refused petrol money! When a storm hit and we couldn’t order food, she sorted it all for us. She later even dropped off a new snorkel set after we mentioned one was missing. The home was stunning—spacious, spotless, and stocked with everything: Netflix, board games, fluffy blankets, ice, snacks, even pool gear. The lagoon was gorgeous; we saw turtles every day. We loved the porch with fairy lights and the pool table was still fun even if slightly uneven. Just bring mosquito spray! This was one of our best stays ever. We’d return in a heartbeat. Huge thanks to Derek and Portia!

Very nice amenities and privacy fully advocated

Leslie’s beach house is in a quiet location, on the western shore of New Providence Island offering privacy & direct ocean access – we laid out & swam every day on our deserted beach! We felt safe & enjoyed renting a van from her acquaintance Barbara, allowing us to travel during out stay. Favorite free spots: Jaws Beach, Coral Harbour & Love Beach. We paid to Clifford Park & Flipper Beach with great snorkeling (bring your own gear). Bon Vivants has the best espresso martinis, chocolate croissants & cinnamon buns. Studio Café for dinner was fabulous! Southwest Diner in Adelaide Village was also very good. Highly recommend Graham Finale Water Tours (Cpt Morgan or Braxton) to see Gilligan’s Island, Rose Island & swim with Sea Turtles out of Montague Bay (cheap t-shirt vendors). For nicer souvenirs visit Diana at Bahama Art & Handicraft. Leslie was attentive and kind, the weather in late April-early May is perfect and we enjoyed every moment! For an ‘off the beaten path' VACA - Book it!

If you are looking for a cozy, relaxing, clean home with your own private beach, this is your place. If you are coming with a bone-fisher, they can fish in the back yard. We enjoyed the tranquility and turquoise waters all to ourselves. Step outside at night and you will experience an expansive sky full of stars. During our stay we saw one other person on the beach and they were local. South Andros is a unique place that is covered with beautiful palms and foliage. Peggy, the host and Temecka, the property manager, go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We love visiting the out islands and this is one of our favorites. Even with the remoteness, the WiFi worked perfectly. If you want to have a fancy meal or massage, be sure to book early with the resort a mile north. As with all the out islands, you may wish to bring a cooler of food. The house is well equipped for cooking and there is a brand new air fryer at your disposal. We rate this house a 10!

This was one of the best vacations we've had! We loved the location, so close to the beach, the restaurants, Cafe, pool and Marina. Honestly we didn't want to leave! I reviewed and researched lots of condos in the Palm Cay resort. Some of them like to be tricky on their location description within the resort and are a father walk to the beach, not this one. They clearly show your location on the resort. The side condo allows for a more private yard feel and adds nice lighting from the windows all around. Also the view of the Marina is nice as we could see the boats coming into the harbor. My kids could easily pop back and forth from the beach. Parking is easy and right out the front door. Every time I took a shower I wrapped up in the cozy robe provided and sat on the back porch off the master on the second floor soaking in the sun and ocean breeze. We had thought we would have to pay extra for the resort Beach, but didn't end up doing that, we just went with no problems!

I cannot understate how wonderful Alicia’s place was. Not only was she a proactive and helpful communicator, but the caretaker, RuthMae, was waiting for me, as promised. The views were lovely and I don’t know how a house could be that pristine right on the sand. Brigadier’s restaurant isn’t even a three-minute walk away, and is accessible by the road or by walking along the beach. I don’t have a single complaint and hope to return again and again. It was a great stay in a beautiful, well-maintained, modern home. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

If you’re considering staying in Andros, do it! Especially with Trevor. He was a very gracious host. You can not beat the views or proximity to the amazing beaches and flats. The space is clean and the AC works great. I recommend you rent a car or have the taxi stop on your way to get drinking water, food, alcohol, and bug spray. Brigadiers restaurant/bar is just down the road but eating there multiple times a day (especially if you have alcohol) adds up quickly. There are bikes and kayaks available for your use, just ask Trevor. During our time in Andros we saw bone fish, sea turtles, star fish, puffer fish, dolphins, and sting ray. We recommend a fishing trip for bone fish with Shawn Riley while you’re here also (bring wading shoes or aqua socks). The people of andros are so friendly and island is beautiful!
