Bek is an extremely welcoming host who made our stay super easy. The location is superbly located with views straight out to the ocean and the little cottage is full of charm. We went at the start of winter and the fireplace was an absolute dream, very cosy, and perfect to get off grid for a weekend and explore the great ocean road. Couldn’t rate Bek and the accomodation at Glenaire Cottages highly enough! Looking forward to next time!

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

Beautiful location, and a gorgeous cabin. Perks included the outdoor spa bath, beautiful fireplace and quiet. Stars at night were lovely, the cabin was clean and hosts friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return and recommend.

Such a fab little cabin and location! Everything you need for a relaxing stay and the property itself is so much fun for kids (and adults)! Our kids absolutely loved the basketball court, the trampoline and swimming pool & spa. Peter was very friendly and switched on the hot tub for me. The grounds and cabin itself are kept really well. The beds are comfy, the split ac/heater works quickly and the kitchen has all the latest appliances to ensure you have an easy stay. Would definitely recommend and return!

We had a wonderful few days in the cottage at donkey run farm. despite all the rain we had a great time meeting the donkeys, checking out the food forest and enjoying the wintery beach. Denise and Greg were the ultimate hosts - helpful and so lovely with our kids. We really appreciated their extra little touches! thanks so much!!

Had a beautiful long weekend hidden away in the trees. It was very rainy but didn't seem to matter sitting in front of the fire and watching the mist roll in across the hills. The rain also meant the nearby Beauchamp Falls were looking particularly dramatic. Highly recommend a hike through Beech Forrest to the falls.. that is if you can peel yourself away from the sauna for long enough 👏🏻

We were looking for an amazing place to stay for our weekend trip and found it completely exceeded our expectations. The cottage comes with everything you need for a great getaway, from the fabulous beach only a short walk or the yummy cafe just down the road along with everything inside even some beautiful bread and jams. The bed was really warm and comfortable even coming with electric blankets if you needed some added warmth. We had the best two nights sleep we had in ages. Don’t miss a chance to stay at this great hideaway.

A beautiful place to stay to get away from it all. Located only 20 minutes from Apollo Bay but well enough away from the crowds in town. A scenic 5-6km drive on a narrow, hilly road accessible by regular 2 wheel drive vehicle. Really enjoyed the drive and scenery every time we ventured in and out of the property, and a few wallabies to be seen. Lucky enough to see a koala in a tree on a neighbouring property and the verandah was a great setting to watch the local King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas feed. Weather was not our friend. It was cold and wet but sipping a bottle of red wine provided by the host in front of a wood fired heater watching the birds on the verandah made up for the weather. We can't speak highly enough of the property and it's location. If you want to see local native animals, we think winter is a better time to visit as in the hotter months, most animals are seeking shade and are not visible until dusk.

Great little cottage in a beautiful bush setting. Plenty of space for two couples, with comfy beds and everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Peaceful location, yet still an easy drive to Lorne. We really enjoyed our time here!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The space was beautiful, private and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We loved the fireplace and stunning views- it was the perfect cozy stay to unwind. The hosts were easy to communicate with, making everything seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Fiona’s amazing farm stay! Such a beautiful cottage in an amazing location. So peaceful and relaxing, my fiancé and I wish we could live here! Everything about the stay is as advertised and so much more. Fiona is a great host and did an amazing job organising a beautiful bouquet of native flowers and a bottle of champagne on arrival for my fiancé. My dog had so much fun on the property. Felt right at home all weekend. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you Fiona

Carol’s place was absolutely perfect for our needs! It was so cosy, the indoor fire was gorgeous and the location was great being only a few minutes walk to the general store and local pubs. The kitchen was very well stocked which made cooking for 6 easy. We would love to come back and stay again! Thanks again Carol

Red and his family were so welcoming and friendly . Just a lovely place to stay close to the Bells Beach WSL surf competition which we were there for. If you are here for the surf - this is your place to stay . Red was easy going and a cool guy . Loved that we could walk to the surf competition- though the 25 min hike is only for the once who can jump fences and walk in bush - just up my alley . Still if you don’t want to walk the drive is a few minutes to the beach. Thank you Red - hopefully we will be back next year. Keep singing and playing your guitar - you are darn great at it . Stayed at Wills place over Easter weekend and had a great time! The place is exactly as described in the info and photos, beautiful scenery to wake up to and enjoyed spending time in nature, in front of the campfire and enjoying Wills delicious wine!

Very close to the beach! The house stayed surprisingly reasonably cool despite the hot weather (and with the air con and fans it was very comfortable). Stocked with lots of books.

Mary Ann's cabin was very spacious for 4 guests with nice views of the beach. The cabin was comfortable and clean with many amenities and even games for the family. It is walking distance from the beach and not too far from central Apollo bay making a great morning walk. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s cabin in Apollo Bay over Easter! The cabin was cozy, clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Liz went above and beyond—there were even chocolates left for the kids, which was such a thoughtful touch. The bed was super comfy, and we really appreciated the extra pantry staples, coffee machine, and soda stream. It all made our stay feel so much more relaxed and homely. Highly recommend and would definitely come back!

Very pleasant host, responsive even in the evening, great local advice of thibgs to do and go. The location is awesome, it's within a very well kept caravan park (Big 4 Pisces). Short walk to the beach. Really great for family holidays amd travelling with kids. Highly recommended.

The cabin is situated in a Big 4 park which means that it has access to amazing activities and facilities to entertain kids, and even a small kiosk for my morning coffee and muffin. The cabin really suits a family, it has two living areas, and a great kitchen. There is a filtered view of the ocean and the walk into town along a beachside path is lovely and only about 2 kms. Apollo Bay itself offers many places to eat and there are lots of interesting places to visit. Our host was very responsive when alerted to a couple of issues and all in all we had a great stay.

Perfect place to visit the great ocean road. Very clean, we liked it !
