Holiday rentals with lake access in Anoka County

Our group had a great time and thought the house looked nice and was unique! Mariah was very flexible and responsive!

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs but never before has our family declared they didn’t want to leave and that they wanted to come back sometime in the future. This house has everything you need to be comfortable, plus a bunch of extras you don’t get at your normal Airbnb: a sauna, a steam shower, and an adjustable bed in the master bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked. The bathroom towels are high quality. And there are two living areas where the whole family can gather and be comfortable. The hosts are also very responsive and thoughtful. We were visiting for our son’s college graduation and there were Congratulations Grad plates left in a basket in the kitchen. It’s little touches like this that made our stay at this home so special. We will definitely stay at his home the next time we are in the area!

We were a group of 3 couples with 4 kids! It was a beautiful property!

This was a great place for our group of 8. It had everything we needed and was very clean. The beds were comfortable and the showers were relaxing. We appreciated the grill. We used the driveway and street parking which was helpful. The movie room and arcade games were a great bonus. We enjoyed walking to Moore Lake Park. It was a good central location for trips between our daughter’s college, Minneapolis and St. Paul. We definitely recommend Nelson’s Ice Cream and Isles Bun and Coffee. Both are a bit of a drive but you truly won’t want to miss them.

Great location for visiting White Bear. Large home with plenty room to spread out. Perfect for multi generational families. I'll stay there again when visiting the area.

Jeanne was a great host -- proactive and responsive. The house looks even better than the photos. If you enjoy watching/listening to birds, you'll love sitting on the deck any time of the day; typically, there were at least 15 different species. Sitting on the deck in the evening, watching the sun set over the lake and hearing the loons call, was the perfect antidote to our stress. If you visit in early May, you'll be treated to the neighbor's crabapple tree in full bloom. The space was perfect for three of us. We had ample room to spread out, hang out, and make a few meals. We loved the small touches like the 4-phone charger in the living room and the USB-C charger built into the bedside lamps. It's a quick drive or good walk to the park by the lake, where there are lovely nature trails and a small beach. We certainly hope to book Jeanne's place again!

It was a great stay! Beautifully clean accommodations! Looks like maybe they’re just getting started in the rental biz?? Short on a few amenities for our group like cooking utensils, dish cloths, tissues, but the view was stellar and the surroundings very private! Loved that, which is what lead me to agree to the price. Higher than I would’ve expected but also seems to be in line with the area. Faith was super responsive and helpful!

Put the all of the minimalist Airbnbs to shame. This is a maximalist home. There is not a bare shelf to be found and it is far from boring. So much to look at! The home was also quiet, clean, and comfortable. Nice places to sit.

We needed a place to sleep after spending the day with family and Lucie’s place provided. It was quite clean and nice view.

The peaceful and beautiful location of this apartment, walkable to Harriet Lake, can’t be overstated. The unit itself is on the top floor of a charming older building, in a well-kept neighborhood graced with towering trees. The unit itself had everything I and my two adult children needed — very comfortable rooms and beds for all, a well-stocked kitchen, a bathroom where everything worked as it should (plenty of hot water), and of course, that gorgeous outdoor deck right off the living room, where we spent so much of our time. We plugged in the lights at night and it was magical. The location meant we were close enough to walk down to Harriet Lake and then run the 3-mile loop around, finishing the run off with a beer or a delicious ice cream at the Bread and Pickle, near the outdoor amphitheater where, if the stars align, you can find someone on stage singing about love, grief, and redemption. So many great restaurants all around. Khâluna was fantastic — don’t think, just go!

Enjoyed our stay at Sydney’s place. She was very helpful and it was a cozy home! Lovely town and definitely need to try the smash burgers at Washington Square!

Location was convenient and in a cute neighborhood. The upstairs neighbors are quiet, but you can hear every footstep, since it's an older home with creaky and uneven floors. The second bedroom is quite small. But the home was clean and adequate for what we needed for a comfortable weekend stay.

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

It's a great location on Lake Street, close to top restaurants such as 6Smith and a short walk to shops and the beautiful Wayzata Bay. The unit is spacious and just as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and plan to return.

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

Jodi's place was the perfect house for our team to stay. We were in town for a conference at the convention center and house was about a 10 minute drive from the center, and we saved hundreds of dollars over is staying at a hotel in town. I would look to stay here again if I return to the Twin Cities.

What a charming, cozy and spotless cottage in a very private setting! The description was on point! Very quiet, wonderful neighbors and accessible to parks, restaurants, shopping, etc. Communication with the host was excellent with any concerns! She was lovely to chat with. If you ever want a true lake house experience with all of the fun but none of the dreaded lake house chores this is the place for you. It’s cosy and comes with all the amenities. The owner is a genuinely nice person. You are within driving distance of several “oh fer cute” Minnesota towns and the lake is right outside your door!

Wonderful place to stay and great location. Easy walking distance to the local downtown and the lake.

We have stayed at Little House several times before and it is always a wonderful experience. I would say it's our favorite Airbnb location in the Twin Cities and if it's available to book, we always do!

The hosts, Katie and Curt, were very friendly and responsive. The hot tub on the patio was a big bonus. I also enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and watching the trolley go by through the woods ($3 to take the short historic ride). And just a few minutes to walk to Lake Harriet pavilion to take in some live music or walk around the lake. I’m excited to come back sometime for this relaxing get-away!

It was the perfect home to enjoy time on a quiet lake with family. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for throwing an impromptu celebration dinner. Was very impressed with the communication and the set up overall

We enjoyed our Minimoon here. Was great. Nothing bad to say, other than we clearly didn’t thoroughly read the posting because we were shocked that it was a guest house! Our fault. But anyway, very clean and nice! Would for sure recommend.
