Family-friendly holiday rentals in Antigua

Amazing place to stay! The host provided some suggestions that really helped us get the trip started on a great note. They checked in with a text just to make sure everything was ok a few days later.

Really nice place. Beautiful surroundings with yummy fresh mangoes to pick when they are in season. Also fresh coconut water if someone is good enough to get one down for you and cut it open. Owner Gary is accommodating and helpful. It's in a beautiful area within walking distance to some restaurants, grocery, lime Kiln beach and Salem. Montserrat is a beautiful island so just visit....you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I visited Montserrat for St. Patrick's Day and for her birthday. Gary told us about the island and walked us to our unit. He helped us find a rental vehicle and told us about the festivities happening during the week. The grounds were densely covered in vegetation and the unit was very private. Our unit had 2 mini split air conditioners and a window unit and cooled off quickly. The pool was nice and we spent quite a bit of time socializing with other guests there. Taxis and buses were easy to book for people who didn't rent vehicles. The people were very friendly and the island is beautiful. Lessons learned - rent a vehicle well in advance, book airfare to the island before early as well, don't expect to buy much in the way of souvenirs. Montserrat is a great place to relax and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Dean’s listing is everything it suggests and more! We booked last minute as another hotel had stuffed up our booking and Dean couldn’t have been more accommodating with an early checkin and getting everything ready. The views are spectacular, the facilities are great and it has everything you need and more. Being in a secure complex it gives added security in terms of not worrying about possessions and the cleanliness was first class. I would highly advise a stay here if you’re planning a trip to Antigua!!

If you are looking for a nice, relaxing place with a beautiful Antigua view, then look no further. Mako’s place is spacious and the view is to die for. She stayed in contact with us, which made getting around very easy. Will definitely be back.

If there was any surprise, it was really how lovely the house and the setting was... pictures don't do it justice! All the conveniences of home and more in a lush tropical setting...we couldn't ask for more! Todd was super responsive as a host and provided many suggestions that made our stay even more enjoyable. Same for Mark, the property manager! Will definitely stay here again when we come back!

As another review says, the pictures on airbnb don’t do justice to the cottage. It’s a really lovely space - inside and out. Nice and airy with lots of space and a good high ceiling which helps keep it cool at night together with the fan. The verandah is a lovely place to look at the gorgeous views, eat, read, watch the birds and hang up the washing! And the kitchen is great for self catering. We loved it.

excellent service provided by Tash wich was my host . Easy check in and everything well explained .Also the maid service was above average .Close to grocery stores and resto and nice beaches .Would recommend this location as a 10 to rent again Alain

Hospitality at its best......Clean, Safe and Private, exactly what I wanted. Fully equipped kitchen, lots of linens, Air conditioner was on point. Location was absolutely perfect, amazing restaurants around the corner, beach only a 3 mins drive away. Host was very flexible with my checking out since I had a later flight. I would highly recommend Goldine and Whitfield's home for your next trip....

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at this villa! It was the perfect setup and amount of space for us all to spread out. The best part was definitely hanging out in the backyard space with the amazing views of Falmouth Harbour and looking out to sea (you have views of both). It was great to have outdoor couches and tables/chairs to hang out in the shade, and there was always a lovely breeze! The pool was great, too! The host answered all of my questions in a very timely manner, both before and during the trip- she gave us some much appreciated tips and advice for restaurants and grocery stores in the area. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking to stay in the English Harbour area of the island. Although it’s a bit farther from the airport, it is our favorite part of the island so we were happy to be based on this side. I would also highly recommend doing an excursion with Barefoot Antigua for anyone looking for a boat excursion :)

We had an amazing time at Sara's place. She gave great recommendations and always super responsive. My favorite part was the back patio that looks out into the ocean. Also the breeze and sound from the water is amazing at night. I will definitely be going to this place again!

We had a fantastic stay at “Tony’s Cottage”. Nathan and Clare were great hosts. We enjoyed the huge front deck (covered) for meals at home and great views. A short walk to Pigeon Beach, Falmouth Harbour restaurants and Nelson’s Dockyard. We rented a car (a must for us) and explored Antigua’s amazing beaches every day. Overall, Tonys Cottage is a great option for those that don’t need or want the typical “resort experience” and instead are comfortable being self sufficient!

We loved our stay here! we were within walking distance of great restaurants and a grocery store. The house was very nice and we instantly felt at home. We also spent many hours in the pool. Staying here was a great part of our Antiguan adventure!

Staying at Elton and Jayne's place was the perfect choice! By far, Elton communicated better than anyone whom I have ever rented from in the past 20 years - he was prompt, thorough, proactive, and friendly in all of his messages. I even received a phone call from him! The location of their place has an absolutely stunning view of both the ocean and the mountains! The view is even better than the photos! Your walk to the north beach is only a few minutes. The drive to the south beach is very short and lots of fun on a golf cart. I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing the two beaches are near their place! Jolly Beach is simply an incredible beach and is rated as one of the top beaches in Antigua!! Their place had more than everything that we needed for our 12 day stay! We cannot wait to come back and would choose their place again! Be sure to use Randy as a taxi driver/tour guide, for excursions, and for a golf cart. He is knowledgeable, safe, and very friendly.

Simonetta was a wonderful host who responded almost immediately with any questions I had. She was very helpful and provided us with many recommendations for our holiday. My family and I enjoyed our stay. 10 mins walk from one of the nicest beaches on the island. I didn't find many places with a pool, and my children loved playing in it. The villa itself was good value for money, water pressure in shower in the second bathroom was low but manageable. View from master bedroom and veranda is incredible. I would definitely recommend renting a car if your stay is longer than a few days.

Hummimgbird is a small slice of paradise! The appartment is delightfully styled with a quality beach vibe, and all fittings and furnishings provide a comfortable and relaxing stay. Everything was spotless, and worked effortlessly! The balcony is a wonderful place to sit and eat , read, doze overlooking the gardens to the bay-heaven! We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayak, which were an added bonus, as well as the shared pool, and we found Karen, Claire, Martin and Mark super responsive and helpful- especially as our flight was 3 hours late! Should we ever be lucky enough to return to Antigua we would most definitely head straight back to Hummingbird!

Clean, as described and a 5 minute walk to north beach - we had a great week there. Kitchen was well equipped and the AC units kept things comfortable. The area is completely safe and usually very quiet. The back deck was great for relaxing in the evenings. Internet was a bit iffy sometimes but that's island internet for you. Recommend you get a car or golf cart if you want to visit the grocery store or restaurants, it's a rather long walk.

This rental was excellent! Check in was a breeze. The host provided great communication ahead of time with location instructions and tons of local recommendations. The grounds for the property were beautiful, right on a well maintained stretch of beach, and directly next to a couple of beach clubs to get food/drinks from. There was a large grocery store just down the road for easy access as well. The unit’s back porch area led directly to the large shared swimming pool. We always felt safe with property security around. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Incredible views from a serene porch overlooking an infinity pool. What more can we say except that our host was exceptional. She was one of the most communicative host I’ve ever used for Airbnb. Jolly Harbour, where the house is close to, is a great place for activities, grocery stores, sailing/boating/scuba activities. Would wholeheartedly recommend!
