What a great trip . I really needed some sun a pool and a beautiful environment and Casa Enza delivered on all front. What a view out over the Indian Ocean! And the infinity pool just footsteps from the door and I had everything to myself. I travelled for two weeks in March, technically off season but still 30 degrees every day. Very few tourists around too so really a great time to travel if you can. Maurizio was a really attentive host despite being thousands of miles away in Italy. He speaks excellent English. I had to work London hours during the week (nosy is 3 hours ahead) so good internet was essential and This place had just installed a new system which full delivered. Also Assany, a local guy. Was on hand to help as well as looking after the pool and the garden. Fantastic trip, I can’t fault it.

This was a great place to be, close to town but a quiet and tranquil space - fully recommended. In one apartment you get a lovely view of the bay, in the other you get to sit in the garden as urban lemurs come visiting. We were very happy in both.

We stayed at the place for 5 nights and it was just fantastic – the perfect start for our time on Nosy Be. Djouzare was always available and made everything very easy for us. The place is clean, well equipped and the air conditioning was a gift at the temperatures. The pool provided great cooling off, as did the sea and the beautiful, clean beach right outside the door overlooking Sakatia. A highlight was the housekeeper Max: always helpful, warm and responsive to everything – whether tuk-tuk, barbecue or laundry service. Right next door is a great restaurant where we liked to eat. We were particularly enthusiastic about the free kayak, which allowed us to paddle to the island in just 10 minutes to snorkel and explore the coves. An all-around wonderful stay – we will be happy to come back! Thank you for everything Djouzare.

Very beautiful villa by the beach , very well maintained by the young housekeeper , a discreet person of high quality , there are two large air-conditioned bedrooms, with bathroom each, a safe in one of them, a pretty tropical garden, direct access to the sea through the garden, good internet connection, villa secured by roller shutters, you can reach the touching villages of Dar es Salam, Madirokely and Ambotoloaka, either by the beach or by the favela style alleys that leave from the back of the house, with a little habit, you can quickly learn how to find your way around, you can also feed the very hungry dogs and cats of the neighborhood. It's just missing an electric group for everything to be perfect.

The place is in a great location, but not at all close to it's location on Airbnb map. Discussion with the host before arriving made finding if very easy. The place was great, but beware of late night partying downstairs, as well as frequent power outages for the town (seems standard in Madagascar).

Very beautiful waterfront villa. Great welcome from Jeanine and the team who are attentive throughout the stay. The accommodation is very comfortable despite the water pressure problem. The place has nothing to do with nearby hotels. Thanks for the great exchange

This is a fantastic place, with a fantastic host. My opinion is that if you are not happy here, you will not be happy anywhere. In general I can not think of anything that could be better. Lots of privacy, awesome view, great pool. In short: Fantastic.

We had a very nice 8-day vacation! The place is beautiful and very peaceful. Jacquess and his wife Angele and their family are very sweet. During your stay, they live out behind the house, and are always around and ready to help. We became great friends. The place is far away from the city and any supermarket, and it is difficult to go out shopping and cooking yourself. We just decided to let Angele cook all our meals and we were not disappointed. Angele cooks simple yet delicious meals, with fresh fish, scrimp and fruit. We just relaxed all day and when the food was ready, we went to eat. A little like a B&B. One time we went to the neighbouring hotel, which has a restaurant. You will of course pay for the food and Angele's cooking, but not restaurant prices. It's a big advantage if you speak French or Malagasy to communicate. We used a local guide Frido Be for an island tour and also Blue Wave Diving, to go Scuba Diving. Btw, there is only saltwater in the bathrooms and shower.

Great place to stay in Nosy Be. Lovely rooms, well equipped villa with a fantastic pool and just by beach. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Frank’s stay was amazing!!! It’s tucked away in the green hills, and surrounded by a variety of beautiful trees and animals. Frank is a very responsive host and very proactive in ensuring we had all we need for a comfortable stay. (Ex. Our kitchen was always stocked and he checked in with us after the storm). Highly recommend if you’re looking for a more wild, and secluded stay. There is a bit of a climb from the beach to the house, so if you’re planning to be in and out the house, I encourage assessing physical fitness / considering if you’re looking for flexible accessibility. With that said, the walk to and from the beach adds to the wonder to Frank’s property! It’s perfect for nature lovers.

We had an outstanding stay. Sonia and Thierry went above and beyond expectations to ensure we had the best possible stay. The staff were also amazing and very friendly and attentive. When it came time to leave, we wish we had booked for longer. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a luxurious, relaxing and peaceful break in this part of Nosy Be. Will visit again soon I hope.

A very simple, yet nice refuge on the busy main road of Ambatoloaka. Contact was fantastic and was mostly with Jeremy, Barbara's husband. This stood out, Jeremy was super helpful, providing me with contacts for scooter rental, boat trips and haircuts - always leading to extra good service and reduced prices. Very friendly, accommodating and caring. I liked the house in its simplicity a lot. Shower was good, ceiling fan (no AC) helped with humidity, outside sitting area was chill. The house is divided into two, so it may be that someone else stays on the other side. There is some noise from the busy road, but that is to be expected. There is a school not far off, so be aware of that when you are looking to sleep in. One has to like the vibe in Ambatoloaka and it wasn't much for me: It's super touristy and most of those are older white men.

Very good welcome upon arrival, the room matches the photos, the location is great! The beach is in front of the hotel, you can find a charming French restaurant next door as well as very pleasant excusions. The hotel is secured by a 24-hour security guard. The reception is listening is also open 24 hours a day. I would recommend this hotel, which is charming, simple and pleasant to visit Nosy Be.

Beautiful apartment, ideally located in the center, all amenities are within walking distance. With beautiful views on the 3rd floor. The kitchen is well-equipped, functional wifi. I recommend it.
