In 2020 zijn we als nieuw samengesteld gezin van 4 kinderen verhuisd naar de Gorzendreef, een zeer rustige en bosrijke buurt dat dicht gelegen is bij het natuurgebied de Liereman. Vandaar ook onze naam 'De Gorzen'. De gors is een vogel die in deze streek voorkomt. We zagen hier de mogelijkheid om een gastenverblijf te vestigen en zijn dan aan renovatiewerken begonnen. Bus (600 m / 9-min walk) plus metro provide easy access to Antwerp and by train you easily reach Ghent, Bruges, and Brussels. Train station is 1.9 km away (25 min walk), or you can combine bus+train. Within 10 min walk you find supermarkets, bakery, bus stop and pharmacy. Beveren shops are easily reached by bus. Guest access: bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor, plus an extra toilet on the ground floor.

The place is easily connected by public transport with the center and other tourist areas.

A beautiful yacht docking area and a famous museum are a 5-minute walk away.

The property is located in a quiet area and yet only a 20-minute drive to Antwerp and 12 minutes to Lier. The hammock garden is meant to let you relax, and in windy or cold weather you can enjoy the veranda. On one corner of the street, Ranst forest begins with bicycle junction "77", along the other side, the supermarket is 300 meters away.
