Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Anuradhapura

The tree houses are amazing and the setting simply stunning. We arrived after dark and received a very warm welcome with dinner waiting for us. The people at Back of Beyond are delightful, keen to share their knowledge of the area and make their guests have a great time. Great place for an adventure and as a base for exploring the caves and Sigiriya etc.

Alba and her Partner Manolo were great hosts: always super helpfull, friendly and attentively. They gave us good advice and helped us with organizing trips to Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Dambulla and Pollonaruwa. To visit all this sites Sat Nam Village is the best place to stay! Cause after an exhausting trip you can relax perfectly in the beautiful garden in a hammock under a tree or in the brandnew pool. And don’t forget the fooood! We really enjoyed the rice and curry prepared by one of the lovely ladies who are working on the property! It was delicious. If you need some variation they also offer great Spanish food prepared by Alba herself! We totally enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back and can highly recommend Sat Nam Village for a cultural but at the same time very relaxing stay!

Une chambre et des terrasses merveilleuses, avec des hôtes attentionnés qui prennent le temps de parler avec vous. Un très joli jardin/jungle juste devant notre porte, ce qui nous a permis de voir iguanes, toucan, geckos, grenouilles,.... Des repas tout aussi exceptionnels. Le fils d'Asela est très curieux et est venu jouer avec nous pour prendre quelques photos. Son chien est un véritable amour, très joueur, câlin, mais aussi très respectueux et sait rester à distance s'il le faut. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ce logement !

Priya homestay est un petit paradis sur terre. C'est un family business tenu para un couple aimable et charmante. Le logement est propre et aménagé avec beacoup de goût. Excellente cuisine. Priya propose avec son tuk tuk des Excursions à des prix imbatables. Le meilleur logement que j'ai vu ici. Merci

Ein super Ort, um die angrenzenden Berge zu erkunden. Vom Felsen auf dem Grundstück aus kann man super den Sonnenaufgang beobachten.

We loved our stay at the villa! The lakeside location is so picturesque and tranquil and the grounds are teeming with beautiful bird and other interesting wildlife. The staff showed us a great deal of care and warmth and were very helpful organizing our tour of the ancient city and arranging a taxi to our next destination. The food was exquisite and lovingly prepared.

ホストはとても親切でした。そしてとてもアットホームです。部屋は鍵があり、中にシャワーとトイレもあります。レストランも近くにあって、シギリヤロックまでは歩いて行ける距離です。とても素晴らしい日を過ごせました。

the host were really great. the food they offered for breakfast and dinner was really awesome. we just loved the food they had offered to us. The place was very neat and we were treated with great hospitality. sigriya rock is not far from this place. they have enough space for vehicle park. I would surely recommend this place for all and in particular for indians.

Linton is a great host. He has built the property himself with lots of love. we loved the undisturbed natural surroundings of the property. The tree top open rooms were unique, Sleeping with the jungle noises is a experience not to be missed. Linton was very helpful with our food choices. Since we are pure vegetarian and do not eat meat, fish or eggs, and do not prefer eating in mixed kitchens, Linton was super helpful and agreed to cook a pure veg breakfast for us using our own pan.

Unseren leider nur sehr kurzen Aufenthalt haben wir mehr als genossen. Die Unterkunft ist nicht weit weg von lokalen Straßen Restaurants und der Berg Sigiriya ist nur 10min mit dem Auto entfernt. Man wird mit feuchten Tüchern und Getränk empfangen. Extrem aufmerksames Personal. Man kann sich Tag und Nacht beim Personal wegen Problemen und allem anderen melden. Die Zimmer sind wunderbar. Mitten in der Natur, mit Balkon im grünen. Aber Achtung, da es sehr (zu) sauber ist, besteht ausrutsch Gefahr in der Unterkunft :D sehr schöne Anlage auch mit Poolanlage. Wir waren überrascht, dass das Frühstück inkludiert war! Es war wundervoll angerichtet mit Erklärung zu den jeweiligen (typisch Sri Lankanischen) Produkten. Wir haben uns sehr sehr Wohlgefühlt und das vor allem dank der lieben, aufmerksamen Mitarbeiter. Danke dafür nochmal.

The lodge is truly located in nature and literally round the corner from Lion Rock which was a priority visit for us when in Sigiriya. So top marks for location but also for a lovely space for a couple, clean and had the basics you need to be comfortable. Dilshan is a fantastic host and communicated everything I needed from the start and thanks also to his brother who gave us a lovely breakfast, and tips for local area. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a very good time in the beautiful nature house built by Mahinde himself. Although his English wasn’t that great they were really helpful and knew just what we needed. The airbnb contact was with his son so this was really good as well. The food was also very nice and made fresh for us. We really recommend staying at the relax nature house!
