Tent holiday rentals in Anuradhapura

Staying at Rukmal's little jungle heaven was amazing. He responded quickly, picked us up from town, arranged a great safari (for a good price) and gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area. The tent had a mattress fitting two people perfectly, and was one of our most comfortable stays in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much for being an amazing host and showing us how to play your board game! Would recomend this place to anyone.

Great place to stay. the manager speaks good English but the waiters don't speak very good English. because of this we had 2 times the wrong food, but they gave us a free breakfast and our last day we got upgraded to a bigger tent. they shouldn't have done this but they did. very helpful staff and also some nice (free) activities to do

Expérience incroyable ! Notre premier hébergement au Sri Lanka fut rempli d'attention lors de notre séjour ! Tout le monde est au petits soins, du petit déjeuner au dîner, en passant par la marche avec un naturalist, ainsi que le cours de cuisine auquel on mettrait la note de 10/10 ! Nous avons également effectué un Safari au Wilpattu National Parc qui fut un moment incroyable, ou il n'y as pas 50 Jeep qui se suivent. Merci pour ces moments 😊

Tolle Location. Wenn man eine Safari im Wilpattu National Park machen möchte wirklich perfekt! Das Personal ist super freundlich und bemüht und weiß sehr viel über Tiere und Pflanzen. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker und allgemein einfach tolle Stimmung! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On an incredibly hot day it was amazing to be welcomed with a delicious cold lemon juice. The stay also offered peaceful nature walks with a guide and a Sri Lankan cooking demonstration included in the price. We had difficulties with transport to the stay but Anuruddha & co. were very flexible. Thank you so much!

Het ontvangst was erg hartelijk. Bij aankomst was de tent nog niet gereed, vanwege het feit dat wij last-minute geboekt hadden. We kregen een drankje tijdens het wachten en een uitleg over de locatie m.b.t. mogelijkheden voor eten en excursies. Het personeel was super vriendelijk, de locatie was geweldig en het eten was ook voortreffelijk. Het feit dat wij vanaf deze locatie de safari in Wilpattu konden doen maakte het plaatje compleet. Een echte aanrader!

Leuke plek, super vriendelijk personeel dat heel bereikbaar is! Alles perfect in orde. 1 minder punt: we boekten een safari via hen om naar Wilpattu te gaan en betaalden extra (15USD) voor een gids. Deze was echter heel de safari stil, kon niet goed Engels en gaf ook na het stellen van vragen beperkt uitleg. Deze mag gerust meer uitleg geven in de toekomst (over het park bijvoorbeeld).

I had a wonderful stay at the campsite—the tent was excellent, and the safari experience was truly rewarding! I highly recommend opting for the full-day safari to fully immerse yourself in the adventure, as the half-day option doesn’t leave much time for actual game viewing due to the travel time in and out of the park. The most exciting wildlife is found deeper inside the reserve. The service and guides were fantastic, making the experience even more enjoyable. While the food quality could be improved, overall, I had a great time and would gladly recommend it!
