Welcome to this carefully renovated house from the 1890s with a modern kitchen and toilet/shower. On the plot there is also a converted barn with kitchen, hot and cold summer water and air heat pump. The shower is outside and a earth toilet in a separate building. There are 5 beds in each building. The houses are relatively individual with large yard and several patios. It is about 250 meters to the jetty and swimming area where there is also a wood-fired sauna that is included in the rental. The place is good for both the family and the group of friends.

Two-person kayak and SUP board are available to borrow for those who want to explore the lake from the water. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Mariehamn.

Glasbergsboden is a traditional archipelago cabin with a double bed for 2 people and a small kitchenette. There is no electricity or running water on the island. On the beach, the rowing boat is waiting for you when you want to go on a discovery trip or fish for your own perch. Österören is an island located in the Boxö archipelago and is surrounded by Boxö nature reserve and at the island's highest point, Glasberget, is the cabin overlooking the Norrhavet. A simple accommodation perfect for overnight stays, or for a couple of nights exploring Föglö. Outhouse and limited laundry facilities but a cozy spacious cottage in the middle of a small farm with horses, chickens, and a farm dog. Close to Degerby, the central town on Föglö. Very close to Föglö church. Own sheets with! Or rent sheets for 5€ per person, payable in cash on arrival. An outdoor grill is available, bring your own charcoal, etc.

Wood-fired sauna where you can heat water for washing and outdoor toilet in nearby building.
