loved staying here its so peaceful and having a lake right opposite to go walking in the morning or evening was lovely. it was also walkable to the town aswell great location cannot fault the appartment atal everything you need is right there

This was our third visit to Island View. We had a great time. The apartment was excellent and It was great to have a welcome from Peter again. We never tire of the view and watching the boats and wildlife. We had everything we needed in the apartment and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. We hope to be back again !! We loved the location of this apartment. It was across the road from the harbour and close to many amenities. Parking was very easy. Plenty of room, and the apartment itself had everything we needed (washing machine, 2x bathrooms, heaters). We will be back to stay again.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this spacious and spotless two-bedroom apartment. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The apartment was beautifully maintained, offering plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring the area. One of the highlights was its prime location - a quick 30 minute drive into Belfast, the perfect starting location for the ‘Strangford Lough Loop’ and just a 1 minute stroll to the Groomsport Inn, where we enjoyed two delicious evening meals and some fantastic live entertainment. It truly added to the experience, making our visit all the more memorable. The apartment itself was well-equipped, comfortable, and perfectly situated for enjoying the charm of Groomsport. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the surrounding coastline, this place is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

David was indeed a 10 Star host. I have stayed in many airbnb locations before and he is one of the most attentive host. He is living in the property and is ever ready to share local experiences and help us navigate the car out from his home. Besides, his home is very well stocked. Full kitchen equipment with butter and herbs and spices provided, a range of beverage from wine to tea to coffee, toiletries and super clean towel. It really feel like a home away from home. I would highly recommend it (unless you have issue climbing stairs or too heavy luggages).

Great, very central & comfortable

Tara's place is perfect for exploring the city. Located close to the city hall in the city centre where you can get a coach trip to the Giants Causeway. Also not far from Titanic area and airport. Lots of options for places to eat and drink. The place itself is perfect for larger groups with so much space and places to sleep. Highly recommend!

I stayed at the property with my 12 year old son and my parents. Newcastle is a beautiful area, by the sea and overlooked by the Mourne mountains. We hiked up Slieve Donard and walked around Tollymore Forest park and we visited the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge on the North coast. The property is exactly as described, clean, tidy and like a home from home. It was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

It was very lovely and cozy place to stay. Catherine has been very kind and helpful. The location is very good and the areas are generally quiet. We could commute to the city centre within 20 mins by bus. We sometimes just walked to/from the city. The botanic garden and Queens university were very close. We definitely want to stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic stay at Marty’s place! I’m from the area but now live in England & my family & I were home for a wedding but needed somewhere quiet & peaceful to stay so my Mum & son had somewhere to escape to when we needed to go home early. The views of the Lough are stunning & can be seen from every room. It was amazing to wake up in the morning and look out at the water & see Sammy the Seal sitting on his rock sunbathing! My son loved it! The best (& sunny!) views for your morning coffee on the terrace. Having parking was a bonus & having some kids toys in the cupboard was a lovely & fun touch for my son. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Marty was such a lovely host. Kind, helpful, flexible & attentive. Will definitely be coming back for the next family wedding!

We wanted somewhere to stay on a visit to Belfast. This accommodation was perfect for us with a bedroom and a bathroom each. Very clean, homely and perfect for catching the bus into the city. Nice quiet area. However, on the main road there are some fabulous restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend to other visitors.

This apartment made our stay in Belfast more enjoyable and hassle free. It offers all that it says and is in a great location to walk and explore this city. Paul is a great host in all respects and is in constant contact at all times. Highly recommended

The perfect place to stay while we were visiting the area for a wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer to spend more time enjoying the lovely garden and wonderful sea views! I would say the property is the best lettable accommodation in Ardglass with a great view over the harbour and private parking which is essential in this village where the roads were laid out about 100 years ago. Easy access to local amenities including Downpatrick for shopping, Coney Island and Killough for walks and one of Ireland's best beaches at Tyrella.

I highly recommend Ana’s beautiful home for your stay. It’s in a great location close to the City Centre, I was over for a business meeting, it’s well connected, 15 mins by car. The home was super clean, cosy and well maintained. The space was very comfortable and we had everything we needed even down to an espresso with fresh coffee beans. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for a great nights sleep. Ana was very accommodating when I needed my stay changed and got back to me very promptly. Hidden gem... I look forward to coming back.

Very lovely studio in quiet area but still with good access to public transport. Kim is very friendly and answers quickly. Highly recommend!

A perfect stay – truly felt like home! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this two-bedroom apartment. Everything about it was perfect. The place was spacious, very clean, and incredibly peaceful—ideal for a relaxing break. It had all the amenities we needed, and everything was in perfect working order. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the cutlery and utensils needed for cooking, which made it feel just like home. There were plenty of towels provided, and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Both bedrooms had smart TVs with Netflix and even Alexa, which was a nice touch. The location was great, with easy access and good parking available. It was so quiet and serene—we slept so well! Honestly, we didn’t miss home at all. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a peaceful atmosphere. Would love to return!
