Great place to relax and hang! It's simple, private and peaceful. Had a beautiful sunset view and very convenient access by the sea.

We loved staying at The Firefly Villa! The villa itself is very large. There is 3 large bedrooms each with their own bathrooms, very large 3rd floor with a library filled with books, nice outdoor covered patio, very nice private pool area and a large elevated viewing platform to watch sunrises and sunsets over the ocean. It is located in a very private and peaceful location as well. The host, Arlene, provided excellent communication before and during our stay. She booked our car rental and tours for us which made things easy. She quickly answered any questions I had also. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Bohol!

This home was absolutely stunning! The decor was perfect and the views were spectacular. We had so much fun creating memories together. The staff was very responsive whenever we needed anything. The property feels very private and it was about 45 minutes away from the whale shark experience in Oslob and just over an hour from the canyoneering experience.

This place is awesome for traveling families, who wants a peaceful place a bit far from the city and close to south of cebu. I suggest this place for groups with their own vehicles to easily travel in or out of the subdivision.

If you are truly looking for luxury this place isn’t for you, but it’s fine for a decent place to sleep and it’s close to town. The beds are soft. The bedrooms do have ac that get the room decently cool. There are no blackout curtains, it’s full light by 6am in the main bedroom. There is a rooster that starts crowing at 3am and doesn’t stop until around 8. He’s very loud. The water pressure is awful, like it’s almost unusable a slight trickle out of sink and the shower makes it feel like you’ll never get enough to wash your hair from shampoo. The linens and towels are clean but stained. I didn’t like that people come in to clean without our knowledge or permission, that isn’t noted in the listing. A lot of things are broken or about to break like the shower holder, the main bedroom bathroom door hinge, the sliding glass door upstairs. There was only one blanket for the upstairs room and the a couple of mattress toppers, we also didn’t ask for anything extra. They may have provided it i

we had a good stay at Mariane's place. felt at home, very peaceful and there is privacy. the caretaker was a wonderful person who was always there when needed. Mariane was always responsive and always checking on us to see if we are good. All in all I recommend this place and will always spend my holidays there. 100%

It's totally worth the travel. it really lives up to its name! We all had a great time! what a perfect way to end our weekend getaway!

The charged bill of the electrcity is understandable since the rate of the electric company is quite high. all in all my experience in the place is so far great. Place will recharge you sea windy breeze, view is amazing and the place is so solemn my mind is full charge. Thanks jake and ate erma all in all the price is justified the electricity bill.

We had an amazing stay at Jerah’s house! The home is brand new, super comfortable, and we were lucky to be one of the first guests. The housekeeper is an incredible woman who went above and beyond to solve any issues we had. Jojo, the friendly neighbor, was always ready to help—whether driving us around on his tricycle or assisting with bike rentals with no passport left. The location is convenient, almost in Moalboal ,right near the Boundary restaurant, and it’s just an 18-minute ride to the White beach. The nature surrounding the house is absolutely stunning, making it a perfect retreat. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cebu!

Abigail is a great host. The house is nice and in a really good location. There were issues from the previous tenants not caring for things properly however abigail did alot to do everything possible to fix things and make it right. Nice house, nice location and great host.

Perfect location for a nice weekend! I loved it!

The host was very responsive, accommodating, and very friendly. The place was clean and had a cozy vibe. It had all the amenities listed as well, the wifi signal was great, they had a dispenser, and four beds. Altho the place still has some things to improve, the overall experience was ten out of ten💯.

This place is indeed a great find! Very clean, affordable and both host and care taker were very accomodating. We were able to celebrate the birthday of Mama Mary in Simala as the place is just a walking distance. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your place :) Till next time

The place was beautiful!! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful host Melody who seemed to be a local resident. She was incredibly kind, helpful, hospitable, and even delivered us breakfast food and other items that we were missing. Be prepared for an uphill, tight, unpaved road through a community to get to the place. Would recommend 4WD. Communication was a bit confusing because the contact on the Airbnb app gave us a separate, local number instead of just answering our q’s. As foreigners, we did not have cellular service and relied on wifi so we were unable to actually contact the local host to let her know we were arriving later than the regular check-in. I felt bad as the local host was waiting for hours because we couldn’t contact them. We also got stuck with a bill from poor grout work. One of our peoples shirts got caught on the corner of a kitchen counter tile that was barely hanging on to begin with. That shirt was enough to break the piece off, I guess

This place is scenic, great view of the beach and the island across. The house is super clean with four bedrooms - each with own t/b. Clean sheets and towels are provided. Even the kitchen is fully equipped. The House of Nature is indeed a wonderful place to stay. For me, this place is a SUPERHOST. To Ms Emie, daghang salamat Ma’am.. My family and I had a great time in your place. ❤️🙏🏻

Overall the place was nice, there is even a separate room from the main house for a solo traveler/ driver lounge, however the place is hard to find and is more in land than main street Moal Boal where all the transportation are easily accessible. however, my family loved the house and LED light pool!
