Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Askøy

We loved the house. It’s clean, beautiful, and has plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. So wonderful to cook for ourselves and we really appreciated the laundry. 100% would stay again.

Great place with a good floor plan, nice sea view, nice bathroom and deck around the whole house. Quiet and idyllic.

If I could give Elisabeth 10 stars I would!! We booked our Norwegian vacation months in advance and I asked Elisabeth her advice on activities, sights, food etc. She had multiple suggestions; all excellent!! If I had any questions about activities or places to go when we arrived, she oftentimes answered instantly!! Her place is clean, quiet, and many lovely areas to take a stroll. Bus transportation was excellent with about a 3 minute walk to the bus stop and about a 10-15 minute bus ride to Bergen center. We did not rent a car and got around just fine. There are 2 grocery stores within walking distance and we prepared multiple meals in Elisabeth's well-stocked kitchen. We discovered "The Pizza Man," restaurant, also within walking distance and enjoyed meeting the very enthusiastic owner, Jan and had 2 great meals there!! Pizza is awesome as are the "twisty fries." We did experience some rain while we were there, but we did as the Norwegians do; put on our raincoats and had fun!!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Rune’s place. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The surrounding property is beautifully maintained and has a lovely garden. The beds are comfy. And to top it off, there is a working wood burning fireplace! This Airbnb was one of the best we have stayed at and we will hopefully be back sooner rather than later.

The views, living room layout to maximize the views with big windows, very nice deck high up, amenities for cooking, hot tub and great local hike recommendations made our stay something we won’t forget.

Wonderful, cozy apartment! Would especially recommend if you’re renting a car, but it works with the bus, too. Nicolai was very friendly and helpful, and the apartment felt very safe and homey.

Really nice apartment with everything you need and in a beautiful location. I really enjoyed my stay and the view. Easy to check-in and check out. Host was very kind and accommodating. Public transportation is wonderful in Bergen and it is really easy to take the buses into town and back and they run very frequently.

We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and fluid communication with Glenn, always available. Very well-equipped accommodation with an incredible view of the fjord. Glenn provided us with a canoe. A great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the apartment is for two people. It is also right on the water, and has wonderful views out of all the windows. It is private and peaceful, you have the entire building to yourself, since there is a garage underneath. The property is shared with another house, but you feel completely separate because you never see each other. The apartment was so clean and well done. We had everything we needed, and just a great stay overall. There is also a really nice hike nearby to the top of the mountain. It takes about 2.5 hours round trip! We hope to return in the future.

We were very warmly greeted by Janette and Jürg. We were allowed to enjoy 7 nights in this wonderful, lovingly furnished, very modern and new apartment. Everything very clean, kitchen with everything you need, even drinks in the fridge (thank you!), dishwasher (incl. tabs), washing machine and tumble dryer in the large bathroom. Our questions were answered promptly and personally. An absolutely wonderful stay in Frekhaug. We also award Super Points!

It was wonderful at Vivian's! The house is modern and at the same time very cozy – we immediately felt at home. The bed is comfortable, ideal for resting. The area is quiet and private, perfect for switching off. From the window and terrace you have a great view of the Byfjord - especially the sunsets are fantastic here! 😍 A parking space directly in front of the house is also available. The journey to Bergen takes about 20 minutes. We can definitely recommend this place!

Dear Gunhild, We thank you from the heart for the wonderful time in your apartment. From the very beginning, we felt very comfortable. This is mainly because you immediately feel that you care about the guests and their well-being. It started with the very warm welcome, even though it was already after midnight, and continued with the detailed tour of the spacious, cozy and very well equipped apartment. We lacked nothing, neither in the bathroom nor in the kitchen, everything was perfect! In addition, your always noticeable care: The fresh and well-filled fruit plate, the free, filtered drinking water, your inquiries about our health, the rental of umbrellas and the many nice conversations and so on. We lacked nothing! At most a little sun or at least snow, but nobody can do anything about the bad weather in the Norwegian winter. Thanks again for everything!

lovely house. Felt immediately at home. Great location with easy access to Bergen (ferry or car) but tranquil. some nice local swimming and walking spots. Renate was very helpful.

Nice apartment, very new and well equipped. Seven minutes to the bus which connects directly to the Bergen ferry (preferable) or Bergen bus. Would always come back.

The surroundings are good.

We had a lovely couple of days at this place, the view from the balcony is as good as advertised. Bergen city centre is an easy bus ride away.
