Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Athens

We loved our stay in Hudson. We were a quick drive into town and it was easy to get around. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well here. We used the pack n play for our youngest and the kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. It isn’t fully fenced in, but there is a fence blocking the backyard from the road, so my kids were always safe. There weren’t a ton of dishes available, that was the only downside we found.

We can’t recommend Clum House enough. My wife and I had the most peaceful, restorative getaway here. We felt right at home and the location is ideal for exploring so many of our favorite spots throughout the Catskills and Hudson Valley, yet it still feels tucked away and serene. We left feeling recharged and already dreaming about our next visit.

Martina’s cottage was fantastic. Everything was as advertised. Fantastic lighting, large space and, unbelievable views.

We had a lovely time! The house perfectly accommodated a friends trip (6 of us) and had everything we needed - lounge space, dining table, full kitchen, 4 bedrooms. We'll be back!

We spent the weekend in the area and Tim’s place was fantastic. It’s loaded with charm, comfortable and very well appointed and stocked (right down to treats for the dog). The location is beautiful and the views are amazing. Can’t wait to return!

Had a great stay at this Airbnb—peaceful and scenic with an incredible waterfall right on the property. My dog had a blast exploring the trails and walking along the stream (I even braved a few cold dips myself!). Not much nearby, so it was a nice change of pace to cook and unwind—just be sure to check for ticks after those hikes!

We enjoyed the perfect escape from the city in this magical barn with gorgeous antiques and pristine views. Definitely will be back for future celebrations!

We had a magical weekend away and our stay was everything we hoped it would be, and more. Olia was incredibly responsive, friendly, and all around wonderful to connect with. The house was a magical time capsule holding the best of energy and a glimpse into the 70s - so fun. The pool and patio were awesome, with open and friendly spaces inside too, all made for the best of entertaining spaces. We could not have asked for a better weekend away, and we cannot wait to plan our next trip! Thank you!

I couldn't believe how responsive Agnieszka was! She made every effort to make sure my husband and I had a great stay. Her comfy deck, cozy fireplace, and nice shower were a godsend after my husband and I decided to brave a rainy hike. I think the place is very reasonably priced considering access to a pool and laundry are included. It's just down the street from hikes and resturants. I also enjoyed taking classes at Mountain Breeze Yoga just down the road.

Robert was an excellent host. Proactively reached out with help to find the home, and a whole host of recommendations. Great space, very private, and had everything you could need.

I spent a week at Fouz and Chris's place with my family (8 adults, a toddler and two dogs) and we had very relaxing, enjoyable, comfortable stay. The house is in a quiet, private area and a short distance from places of interest for hikes, restaurants, museums, historical sites, etc. We received great recommendations from the hosts.

It was a fantastic house with a beautiful view. Plenty of space and we really enjoyed our stay. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely come back.

Absolute slice of heaven. Private, peaceful. Home itself modern and comfortable. Pool was absolutely amazing, comfortable in late May - in peak summer it must be amazing. Would love to stay again!

Our second time staying at Maitopia with our cat, just as wonderful in a different warmer season. Tina was super responsive as usual and even accommodated a late checkout. We enjoyed feasting in the kitchen as well as grilling in the yard, floating around in the pool when it was warm enough out, "hiking" with our cat on a leash around the forest on the property, taking baths, streaming music. We didn't leave the property much, but it was a fun highlight to get a few local produce items at nearby Greig farm and meet the adorable goats. One tip- bring an eyemask if you're sensitive to light in the mornings- there aren't any window shades in the bedroom.

We had the most relaxing few days at Liza’s place. The cabin was gorgeous and peaceful. Our daughters enjoyed watching the deer, bunnies and chipmunks. We also loved the giant soaker tub! We’ll be back!

We had such a nice time staying at the cabin - the pictures do not do it justice. The beautiful decor choice and the peaceful surroundings have to be experienced in person! Nick and Colleen also provided great recommendations for the area. We would love to come back again.

The only thing better than the loft was Laura Ann herself. I came upstate to go on a little solo retreat to make some art and be alone in a peaceful place. This Airbnb was the perfect place for it! From the serene cemetery to the highly eclectic paintings and sculptures in the loft, I couldn’t have been more happy with my stay. Lots of restaurants and shops around that are about a ~15 min walk from the Airbnb, very accessible. Laura Ann is so extremely friendly and helpful, she really made me feel right at home. Probably the best Airbnb experience ive ever had. I will definitely be coming back!! Thank you Laura Ann!

If I could give 6 stars, I would! This house is super clean, great layout, and has everything needed for great stay. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Orlando was very quick to respond to all of our correspondences. He was always kind and professional when communicating with us. We stayed in the house during a snowy, chilly week in December. The house was nice and warm upon our arrival and we immediately felt right at home. The lake views are beautiful from inside the house and deck. Comfortable bed, nice furniture, and a well stocked kitchen. Airbnb photos accurately represent this lovely home. There is plenty to do in the area or you can just stay at the home and enjoy! We already booked another stay for the end of December. Thank you Orlando for sharing your home and making us feel safe and comfortable.

This space is even more beautiful in person! Upon our arrival we immediately felt at home and the abundant amenities made our trip extra easy. We loved Kathryn’s place! It was so peaceful and pretty, we loved having lake access, and it was convenient to drive to several local towns with great restaurants. The whole family enjoyed the kayaks and the community pool and the lovely outdoor space. My favorite part of the stay was the friendly fox who would visit the property in the mornings. Kathryn was also a wonderful host and responsive to our questions/messages. I would definitely stay here again!

Rosane and Daniel were great hosts and super communicative! The house was really clean, the beds were super comfy and the game room was so fun! The massage chair was the best part of the house! Thank you for hosting us :)

We had an amazing time! Danielle and Ely were very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay special. They answered all our questions, helped us book a table at Matilda, and even surprised us with complimentary wine. It was so thoughtful!
