Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Atlantic Canada

Perfect plus+++. The house has amazing views and is very private and architecturally distinctive. Alexandra was a great host very helpful but never intrusive . Hirtle beach is in walking distance from the house which we (myself and my Corgi) did every morning . The farmers market on Thursday’s Lunneberg Has amazing fresh scallops and local bake goods and fresh veggies . A truly memorable trip. I can’t wait to return.

If you want the back woods and privacy then this is the place for you!!!! It's Big - It's wood! It's magical! 9 of us on a trip to honor our grandmother's and spread our ashes and bond and it was the absolutely best place. Drinks, hot tub, walks, scavenging the beach for cool finds. Just a heads up...it's open concept so at night if you are a light sleeper bring some ear plugs or a night mask with speakers to play white noise. Worth the trip!!!

The house has absolutely everything you’d need; phone chargers on each side of every bed and multiple in the living room/kitchen, abundance of linen, kids toys/books, all the streaming services, multiple Bluetooth speakers etc. you truly only need to bring your clothes. The house is exceptionally clean as well. If you’re looking to explore farther into Cape Breton Island (highlands national park for example) note that it is a bit of a drive. Otherwise we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home!

Our family of six adults really enjoyed this beautiful, well-appointed house — particularly the location. This new home has incredible views and we spent considerable time enjoying the wildlife that came into the cove. The hot tub, sauna, croquet set, and kayaks were really special added bonuses of which we took advantage. The house had everything we needed in regard to linens, kitchen items, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was very private and peaceful — we didn’t see another person save some friendly waves from passing boats. We drove about 25 minutes for a dinner in Shelburne and visited Digby (2 hours away) and Mahone Bay (~1.5 hours away) while we were there, but also — because of the beautiful setting — ended up spending more time at the house than originally intended. Highly recommend!

Meine Familie (4 erwachsene Personen) und ich hatten erst eine andere Unterkunft für Prince Edward Island gebucht und wurden bitter enttäuscht, sodass wir ziemlich schnell wechseln mussten. Zach hat uns spontan am selben Tag noch persönlich empfangen und seine Unterkunft kann ich sehr empfehlen: es sieht genauso aus wie auf den Fotos - wie in einem Pinterest Board oder „schöner wohnen“- Katalog. Zach hat das ganze Haus mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dabei wirklich auf nichts vergessen: die Küche ist super ausgestattet, es gibt viele gut riechende Handtücher, ein gutes Wlan.. Das Haus hat eine beeindruckende Aussicht, einen magischen Lichteinfall und eignet sich auch besonders gut für schöne Fotos/Videos. Wir haben uns gleich wie zuhause gefühlt und werden definitiv wiederkommen. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass überall schöne Blumenbouquets aufgestellt waren.

This was our second time staying and it was just as good as the first! Nancy is so friendly and even offered us a late check out without our asking. The house has everything we need for a relaxing end of the school year getaway. We have an annual end of the school year trip and hopefully this will continue being our go to spot for years to come! The views, the layout, the space, the tranquility, the hot tub, 10/10!

There’s not enough characters available to describe how amazing Kimberly’s air bnb is. Little House is clean, private, and absolutely stunning with the personalized details Kimberly decorated with! The hot tub was pristine and the deck was gorgeous with cute lighting, seating, a bbq & a fire pit. What more could you want?? The little reading nook really stood out to me as a reader and was literally so adorable. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for our 2 year anniversary and the host decorated the air bnb and selected cute couple card games for us to play. She also baked the most amazing baguettes and cinnamon buns that we adored. You can really tell Kimberly goes out of her way to ensure her guests have a great experience. Honestly if you have the opportunity to say here you absolutely should, it’s a hidden gem for sure & a great deal for your dollar :)

This was our second stay at The Little Wild and we were again thrilled to spend time in this beautiful spot. The house was perfect and the view unbeatable. This will not be our last stay. If you are lucky enough to find availability for this gem, book immediately.

The apartment was fantastic! It had everything we needed, and no clutter! Beautiful furnishings, modern, simple and comfortable. Surprised by the unexpected gorgeous view of the Narrows bridge at night - what a great seating alcove to enjoy it! Easily walkable to the waterfront and restaurants. We have come to depend on Warren's on the Waterfront and Bucksport House of Pizza over the past few years of visiting - this trip did not disappoint, the pizza and sandwiches are still top notch! We were here this time for our son's graduation from MMA, and although we rented a larger home for the younger guests and West Coast visitors, we chose this one for us, as a place to get away from the chaos of the larger home. It was simply perfect. Kudos to your housekeeping, the apartment was spotless and so welcoming - especially after a 13 hour drive from Maryland. Even though our son has graduated, we will be back. We just love the area. Thank You!!!

Kevin and Donna’s place was very clean and comfortable. It is just a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia national park. Watching the geese and ducks in the beautiful backyard each morning was a bonus. Kevin and Donna are responsive and friendly.

Beautiful view of the town and the ocean. Very nice location and the host was also very kind and responsive. Would book with her again!

10/10 Best Airbnb we ever stayed in! The house was super clean, kitchen fully equipped with fresh eggs, milk and butter in the fridge. All taken good care off by the lovely Pam. She even made fresh cookies and muffins! We came to Acadia for hiking and this was for us the perfect stay since it’s away from all the crowds. Perfect vacation, will defiantly come back!

First of all, I have to thank Damian for giving us such a wonderful experience. I must say the house was even better than the pictures. Everything was neat and clean, and the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning — especially during sunrise and sunset, offering a breathtaking view of the harbour. Damian was great to communicate with and responded very quickly whenever we needed anything. If I ever travel to the area again, I would definitely choose this place again!

Très bel endroit pour se poser, décor intérieur chaleureux et « zen ». La vue sur le le fleuve aurait sûrement été magnifique sans le smog des feux de forêt de l’Ouest Canadien (!)… mais la beauté intérieure a fait le travail (beaucoup de verdures, oeuvres d’art). Mathieu a été proactif en lien avec une problématique avec la machine à café mais ce problème n’a pas terni notre séjour. Si vous voulez un silence complet, ce n’est pas la place puisque l’endroit est près d’une route relativement passante et que nous pouvons entendre les voisins d’en haut marcher (mais ils sont tranquilles par ailleurs). Ceci mis à part, notre séjour fut à la hauteur de nos attentes et nous y reviendrions sans hésiter.

We had a great time during our stay at the FlipFlop cabin. Its in a beautiful location, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the cabin itself is delightful. Can't wait to come back to Pleasant Bay and stay here again.

Lovely quaint little villa on a property surrounded by similar villas. Our villa was very cozy and compact. It served as a perfect spot for us to rest for the night after a day trip around the Cabot Trail.

On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

Dean was a wonderful host, and his house was idyllic on an already beautiful island! my family had a great time, and we would 100% stay here again!

The Chateau is spectacular. Spacious and well appointed. Too many unique and high quality features to mention. Such a memorable and comfortable experience for us all. A real gem. We hope to return!

This was our second time staying at this location, and as mentioned in the many positive reviews, this place impresses on every level. The views from ever location are stunning, and the decor is perfect. If you are a birdwatcher this place is really magical. with binoculars or ideally a spotting scope you can observe nearby colonies of Murres, Puffins, Razorbills Kittiwakes and others right from the deck. The seas below the cliffs can have closer range views of these sea birds, and the skies above the more distant islands are literally full of birds at any time of the day.

Very responsive and accommodating hosts! Villa is as advertised, the property worked really well for us as we were with a wedding with multiple others staying at the resort. It’s a short drive to lots of beaches and restaurants.
