In the middle of the forest, on a clearing, 3 km from the beautiful town of Gartow, lies our special retreat. If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Es gibt keine Zentralheizung. Es gibt einen Heißluftofen, dieser ist ähnlich wie ein Kachelofen, gibt aber schnell mollige Wärme. Bei der Ankunft ist eingeheizt und die Wärme reicht meist bis zum nächsten Vormittag. Das anfeuern ist einfach! Entspannen, Ruhe genießen auch Stille in einer stilvollen Gästewohnung, sich wohlfühlen egal wie das Wetter ist. Ganz ruhig auf dem Land, hier gibt es keine Ablenkung, keine Geschäfte, kein Café, nichts. Willkommen in the Middle of Nüscht.

Our new, charming and lovingly furnished apartment is located in a former stable building of the old farm, just 700 m from the Nemitz Heath. The 60 sqm are divided into a kitchen, hallway, bathroom, a bedroom/living room and a beautiful wooden terrace - ideal for couples or solo travelers, suitable for a maximum of 3 people. Wallbox and bicycle shed are provided. On request, 1–2 horses can be accommodated (€20/night) – ideal for unforgettable star rides in great nature.

Im Garten können Sie entspannen und die Ruhe der Umgebung genießen. Direkt vor Ort oder in der Nähe sind Rad- und Kanufahren möglich, ebenso wie Bademöglichkeiten an der Elbe oder an Seen. Dannenberg in the beautiful Wendland with beautiful cycling trails, forests and the nearby Elbe. Great outdoor pool nearby, good nearby shopping, sauna can be booked from September to the end of April. (€10 hour) On weekends only book both nights, no one-night booking. It's an apartment, Airbnb presents it as a tree house! Large staircase to the top, large apartment, large balcony - no shared use. For check-in, the door is open from 3 pm, the key is inside.

kulturhaus wahrenberg

Für exzessive Partys ist unser Hof leider nicht geeignet. Unser Haus wurde ca. 1850 erbaut. Wohnhaus & Scheune des denkmalgeschützten 3-Seiten-Hofs sind im Eichen-Fachwerk errichtet. Um das Haus stehen 10 Hochzeitslinden. Im November, wenn die Linden zurückgeschnitten sind, ist das Haus in seiner ganzen Pracht zu sehen. Ab Mai verschwindet es dann langsam hinter schattenspendendem Blätterwerk, und bleibt so den ganzen Sommer über herrlich kühl...
