Peaceful cabin by the river Mjerma

There is a road all the way to the cabin (not far from the main road) and you may park at the end of that road or on the lawn outside the cabin. The cabin can be used all year, but in the cold months you will have to rely on firewood for heating (though we provide an electric heater) and the cabin will probably be cold when you arrive. It is not well insulated, so you must visit with a practical attitude. The tap water in the kitchen is ok to drink. Please note that it will be shut off in autumn /winter to avoid frost damage, but we provide cans with water. There is no bathroom or shower, but you can heat water for washing or bathe in the river. Toilet: Please note that the toilet is a very basic bucket /bio toilet, to be found in the shed just across the lawn. The shed has electric light.

Suitable for anyone who would like a break from everyday life. Short distance to swimming and fishing water. Take a walk or bike ride on the many trails and forest paths in the area, or enjoy an evening swim at the swimming area located a few minutes' walk from the cabin. The cabin is located near the water with its own beach line. It is located in an idyllic place that can fit a romantic weekend getaway or a cozy weekend with the family. Here you can row a boat, fish and swim in beautiful surroundings and it is only 9 km to the nearest store. The cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer and oven. The cabin has a private bathroom with toilet and shower as well as a bedroom with two beds. There is also the possibility of a sleeping space on the sofa. The cabin is about 1 hour drive from Oslo, parking space at the cabin.

The homestead Maltjernmoen is completely for itself about 6 km into the forest road only 2 meters from the water Maltjenn. With a road all the way up to the door. Here you can enjoy the root and peace, go hiking in a fantastic hiking terrain or fishing in one of the many waters in the forest around. Here there are perch pike and trout. Fishing licenses must then be released. A boat with a 4 hp motor can be rented for the stay for NOK 500 The cabin has its own private beach and large lawn and frolic. Private bath jetty and annex with 2 beds extra.

Hytte ved Mjermen

Small and primitive cabin right on the waterfront at Mjermen in Aurskog-Høland. West-facing location with good sun conditions. Private pier and bathing area. Some sand, but not a proper sandy beach. The canoe can be used freely; life jackets must be brought. No water 12V power for lights and phone charging Fridge and stove on gas. A simple kitchen without a sink, a sofa bed and a dining table are in the same room. A small bedroom with a family bunk bed. Outhouse Drinking water must be brought Simple outdoor furniture and charcoal grill

In the summer we can boast a fantastic place for morning baths, canoeing and a grazing herd of horses outside the cabin. The cabin has an outhouse and there is no electricity and water in the cabin. In the winter season, you can light the fireplace, fish, ice swim, ski and skate or just enjoy the tranquility of the forest!

Nice and quiet location in amazing nature, with endless hiking opportunities. There are two bedrooms in the cabin with double beds, a loft with space for two and a sofa in the living room. The dining area in the living room can accommodate 10. The cabin is equipped with an air-to-air heat pump that keeps it warm at all times.
