Wow! Perfect place for our family of four. The house was cozy and comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were nice size and finish. The property its self was so beautiful with such an idyllic backyard leading down to the fun and cozy boathouse where we hung out playing cards and enjoying the beautiful summer evening. The beach area was fun to explore. Quiet area, free from the traffic and crowds of Lofoten, beautiful mountains around and a few beaches up and down the road. Wish we had stayed longer! Can’t wait to come back and relax here again!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

Alex ist der perfekte Gastgeber! Das Haus ist traumhaft und die Umgebung wunderschön! Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und konnten wunderbar der Alltag hinter uns lassen. Es ist alles so unkompliziert und entspannt! Die Kommunikation war großartig und es fehlte an nichts. Da Alex auch Ausflüge anbietet, ist er die perfekte Wahl für einen unvergesslichen Urlaub auf den Vesterålen. Mit seiner Freundlichkeit, zuvorkommenden und offenen Art, Humor und den Geschichten über Land und Leute hat er den Aufenthalt noch verfeinert. Danke für Alles! Bleib so, wie Du bist! la maison est super! très bien équipée, confortable, décorées et très propre. Le sauna et le bain nordique jacuzzi ont été un vrai plus après nos superbes randonnées. la situation est très bien pour visiter les Lofotens et faire de belles randonnées. Heinrick est très accueillant et sympathique. Je recommande plus plus.

Dieses schön gelegene Haus gefiel mir sehr gut. Bezaubernd eingerichtet und das absolute Highlight waren die Elche aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster. Ferner ist die Terrasse ebenfalls sehr gemütlich.

Wir haben in diesem Seelenhaus einen unbeschreiblich tollen Urlaub verbracht. Wenn man einen Traum vom Paradies mit Frieden, absoluter Stille und phantastischer Natur hat, wird er hier wahr. Geir ist so ein hilfsbereiter und ehrlich aufrichtiger Mensch. Er erkundigte sich, wie es uns geht, ob wir noch Fragen oder Wünsche haben und gab uns noch wertvolle Tipps zur Erkundung der Lofoten und Umgebung. Wir werden den Platz sehr vermissen und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy and quaint old beach house. Easy driving distance from Reine and Å to see the sights, and is close to a local grocery store as well (not a given on Lofoten). Karl was kind enough to already have the heat on when we arrived soaked on a blustery rainy day and it was a perfect break from the storm being able to sit in the dining room and watch the rain one the water from indoors.

We verbleven 2 nachten in het verblijf van Hans. Het is een supergezellige hut met een prachtig uitzicht. ook de jacuzzi is echt zalig! Het is rustig gelegen en de ideale uitvalsbasis voor een trip in de Vesterålen. Wij komen hier zeker terug wanneer we opnieuw in de regio zouden zijn!

We stayed a week, and the location couldn’t be more picturesque. It is in an enclave of three buildings at the end of its own steep fjord, over 1 km inset from the one road connecting it to the rest of civilization. You really get a sense of the solitude that might be typical of so many homes in rural Lofoten or in Knut Hamsun literary works. Despite its isolation, the home – an ADU – had all modern conveniences working fairly well. Cell phone connection in certain weather conditions was sketchy on one or two occasions, but Internet was always strong. Kitchen appliances and climate control all worked well. Wood-burning stove heater had all the fuel you might want. Of course, visitors are very dependent on their car. The nearest shopping or tourist attractions, even gas/electric charge stations and convenience stores, are a 20-25 minute drive away. Finally, the hosts were completely accessible during our 1 week stay.

May was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. The place was very clean and had all of the necessities.

Nusfjord is a beautiful location. We used it as a base to do several hikes around the island. The house itself is easy to find. Anne Lise was quick to respond. Instructions were clear and check in and out easy. Kitchen stands out in completeness, also the bathroom and shower are a definite plus. Would most definitely recommend!!!

Sehr angenehme und herzliche Kommunikation. Wohnung liegt am Ende einer Wohnsiedlung schön im Grünen und man kann direkt von der Wohnung zur Wanderung aufbrechen. Hatten sogar das seltene Glück, Elche zu sehen, die bis in die Siedlung gekommen sind. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht. Und das Wohnzimmer ist so gemütlich, dass man auch mal einen richtigen "Schietwetter"-Tag daheim verbringen kann. Für viele Ausflüge von einer Unterkunft aus, finde ich sie allerdings doch etwas zu abgelegen.

Kanskje det flotteste stedet vi noen gang har bodd på via AirB&B. Fantastisk beliggenhet, høy og smakfull standard på innredning, og helt usjenert. Kan varmt anbefale dette stedet for en unik opplevelse tett på den flotte naturen i Sørvågen, helt ytterst i Lofoten.

Un appartement parfait. Le logement proposé est spacieux, propre, lumineux et dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin. Anna est très réactive et arrangeante. On n’hésitera pas à revenir à nouveau ! Merci encore

Die Unterkunft ist ein absolutes Juwel. Absolut ruhig und abgelegen, gleichzeitig ein super Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen der mittleren und nördlichen Lofoten. Nach den herrlichen Wanderungen in der Natur hierher zurückzukehren und vor der Panoramafensterscheibe zu regenerieren, war ein Traum. Das Haus ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet, absolut empfehlenswert! Vielen herzlichen Dank.

Nydelig sted helt ute i havgapet, Lofotveggen neste! Utrolig utsikt ute og inni hytta! Vi fikk se Havørn, Oter, Rev og mange fugler, vi fisket og badet på den nydelig Bø stranda rett ved. Mye å oppleve i nærheten. Hytta hadde alt vi trengte og sengene var gode! Thor var en hjelpsom vert! Bare godt å si om hytta. stedet og han!

This charming cabin is right on a pristine and quiet lake. We loved sitting out on the dock, watching the light change. In the distance there were a few bright red farm houses and cattle grazing on a field nearby. Because of the midnight sun we frequently got up at two or three or four in the morning to look at the changes on the lake. Each hour it looked different and always wonderful. The serenity is just what we were looking for and we found at this cabin. The cabin was well equipped, and had everything. needed to make some meals. Monica is a supreme host. She went out of her way to help out in many ways, for example I needed to ship a box home and she took us to the post place and translated as needed. We would love to come back.

Wow! This place was incredible. Even better than the photos. We did not want to leave. There were fantastic views from EVERY room. The property was well-equipped and had everything one needs to have a comfortable stay. It was clean, hosts were responsive, and it was very comfortable. The area around it has homes, but it’s very private and has a few short walks with beautiful views. Location wise it isn’t far from Leknes and all that Lofoten has to offer. We found it convenient and easy to find. I only wish we would have been able to stay longer. If we are lucky enough to return to the area, we will definitely book this property again.

We were very lucky - we enjoyed mountain hikes in beautiful May weather and this fisherman’s cabin which was such a lovely surprise! It was as it is described and much more. It was very spacious, right on the water, had incredible views and everything we needed. The location was also very convenient - close to everything but a bit away so very romantic. Thank you Fredrik and Caroline for sharing your special place with us!

Therese’s cottage was absolutely perfect! Tucked away in the woods so perfect for seeing the Northern Lights. It was cosy and warm & nicely decorated! Therese was so helpful and responsive too which made checking in super easy. Thank you!

We have been to many Airbnbs in many different places - and this one is definitely among the best!!! The view from the cabin is simply breathtaking (we were here in May, so we could enjoy the midnight sun ocean view). Everything is super clean and very cozy. The location was perfect for exploring the area between Svolvaer and Leknes.
