We welcome you to the Loire Valley at the Orangerie du Manoir de la Calvinière (early 18th century), our family home - in the heart of a private forest estate of 300 ha. Recently renovated, the Orangerie offers, on both sides of a large living room, 2 independent wings. Welcome to all lovers of nature (on foot, by bicycle or on horseback!), animals (zoo of La Flèche and Doué, fishing). - The beds will be made. - Cleaning: if you don't want to do it yourself we can take care of it

A hidden gem in the Loire Valley

Come and relax in this quiet house, tucked away in a small village halfway between Angers and Tours, close to the Baugé Golf Course, castles and tourist sites (Le Lude and the Flèche zoo are around twenty minutes away). Old and full of charm, our holiday home will comfortably accommodate you with 10 or (even 12 with the sofa bed in the office area) friends or family. In the evening, an aperitif is taken in front of the fireplace or outside, facing the 11th century church.

In the grounds of a turreted 15th century château - featured in a number of homes & interiors magazines - this beautifully converted, spacious, former stables is set in glorious gardens with views over our 10-acre truffle orchard. Full of character and charm, thick local limestone stone walls keep the house cool in summer yet cosy during the colder, truffle-hunting months. The covered terrace is perfect for alfresco dining and has an uninterrupted view of the gardens.

Country apartment in Baugeois style. Access to the apartments is on the floor completely separate from the house, access is via an external staircase. The accommodation includes a bedroom, living room, fridge, microwave and bathroom. Note that there is NO hob. Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside, our chickens wandering in the garden and the charm. The place is great for business trips, tourism and visiting the La Flèche Zoo (15 min).
