Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! This place is absolutely amazing — it exceeded all our expectations! In real life, it looks even better than in the photos. Getting there was very easy, and there’s a large parking area right on the property, so we felt totally safe leaving our car. The views from the rooms and the living area are simply unreal — breathtaking. Inside, the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. The hosts were wonderful — very responsive and helpful, and arranging check-in and check-out was smooth and easy. The entire property is stunning and well cared for. You will definitely enjoy your stay here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Douro!

Estadia muito boa. Local calmo, casa impecável. Apenas tem bastantes bichos, o que é normal na zona em que está inserido.

Leuk vrijstaand huisje midden in de stad en langs de rivier. Fijne tuin met zwembad, terras in de schaduw. Alles schoon en netjes. Fijn dat de hond mee mocht. Afgesloten tuin. Leuke wandelroute direct vanuit de woning over een houten steiger. Zeer attente en snel reagerende hosts. Een probleempje met een deurkruk kwamen ze heel snel verhelpen. Ik raad het zeker aan!

We had an amazing time here! Gorgeous views, lovely spacious and well set-up apartment but most of all the best hosts, Cristina was extremely helpful and welcoming, offering home baked cookies even! Additionally, Bruno as well as his parents were kind and welcoming. We tasted the farm’s wines and were happily surprised. The pool is amazing, the setting is most serene. We drove to the Douro river to visit some wineries and the drive is lovely. I can’t fault this place. Hopefully coming back soon!

Estamos encantados de esta elección, ha sido una noche pero nos dejó unas horas más disfrutar del lugar, su piscina, barbacoa… el anfitrión muy amable, atento y siempre con su mejor disposición. Muy recomendable

Pedro was beyond helpful!! And his recommendations were on point!! The best food Ever!!!!! The home is beautiful with amazing views. It felt like a chic hotel but like home!! We decided to return and when we do I will be staying here again.

Such a wonderful place and wonderful hosts! It’s remote, too far normally to walk to town, but our hosts did a great job of supplying us with breakfast food and wine, so we were never without the important things. Beautiful place, beautiful views, lovely pool (too cold to use when we went), sauna and workout room. Wineries all around the area. Many thanks to our very responsive and enjoyable host, Tania

Comfortabel huis in een prachtige omgeving. Vriendelijke en behulpzame gastheer, die apicultuur gelukkig heel serieus neemt! We kregen als huurders een potje heerlijke kastanjehoning cadeau. Een aanrader.

Loved it! The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, very clean and in the perfect location overseeing the Douro River. There are several great restaurants, grocery stores and wineries within walking distance. We had everything we needed and a few extras that made our stay even more special. The host was very responsive and checked in with us frequently. I didn’t want to leave!

Fantastic stay in Pedro's home from home, Pedro was very friendly and helpful, and the property was just what we wanted for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, and a great location for us to explore the wonderful north of Portugal. Stayed for about 10 days, and enjoyed every minute. Thank you very much to Pedro and his family.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en familia fantástico en Braganza. El alojamiento está muy bien ubicado para visitar la ciudad caminando, es acogedor, está decorado de forma muy agradable y nos lo encontramos muy limpio. La única pega, las escaleras, que son un poco empinadas, pero en los edificios antiguos de Braganza es habitual. Susana fue muy amable con nosotros así que si volvemos a Braganza, repetiremos.

Todo perfecto, la ubicación, la casa, la atención por el anfitrión, el mobiliario, la tranquilidad...... .Totalmente aconsejable. Nada que objetar.

Casa magnífica, espaçosa, cuidada, e com todo o equipamento necessário para uma estada curta ou longa. Bom aquecimento e águas quentes. O local, embora um pouco afastado da cidade (7km), é muito calmo e a 5 minutos a pé da praia fluvial (local lindíssimo). Aproveito para agradecer a simpatia da D. Maria Helena.

Ce logement correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins. Tellement que nous avons ajouté une nuit supplémentaire. La vue directe de la terrasse vaut le déplacement (vallée du Douro). De plus, José nous a donné une belle suggestion de dégustation de vins (à 5 minutes du logement) où les conseils et les vins étaient parfaits. Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune hésitation

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa! Os anfitriões foram extremamente simpáticos e prestáveis, dando-nos várias indicações úteis desde o início. Sentimo-nos em casa — o espaço é muito confortável, acolhedor, bem decorado e com tudo o que precisávamos para desfrutar de uns dias tranquilos. A Casa do Outro Mundo é, de facto, mesmo do outro mundo! Um lugar único, cheio de charme e cuidado em cada detalhe. A aldeia, embora pequena, tem um encanto especial. Fomos sempre recebidos com cordialidade pelos habitantes e até a nossa Arya 🐶 fez novos amigos! Recomendamos sem hesitação e esperamos voltar.

A Quinta Pedro & Inês é um recanto muito especial: uma quinta com todas as comodidades que uma família pode querer: piscina privativa, churrasqueira e espaço de refeição exterior, árvores de fruto, redes e espreguiçadeiras e muito ar puro, silêncio e espaço para contemplação. A casa está muito bem equipada e o quarto das crianças é um manancial de divertimento com muitos jogos e livros e uma espécie de mezzanine onde se podem perder nas brincadeiras em segurança. Foram uns dias mágicos e voltaremos certamente!

Sin duda un acierto alojarnos aquí, casa muy limpia, con todo lo necesario para estar muy cómodo. Hemos viajado con un niño de dos años y tiene todo lo necesario para que el chiquitín esté cómodo y seguro.Desde el primer momento Cindy nos han dado todas las facilidades que hemos necesitado. Volveremos seguro ya que la zona es muy bonita y el trato ha sido excelente.

Olivier was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations of all sorts (food, trips, events, wine,..) and they even brought me fresh tea (herbs and fruits) from their garden for me to brew! The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed and simply great to be at.

Jose’s place, (Pedro is the Son of), has a lovely home in a quiet friendly village. The home was relatively easy to find, (could do with an Airbnb sign on the corner of the property, to help weary travellers). Once arrived and settled in, Jose is a BRILLIANT host, so welcoming, so generous and the home is comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed a meal in a neighbouring town, that Jose, happily booked for us, but there is all the available gear to cook for yourself. The area is close to the Duoro river, and Jose gives so many options for activities for this area. He is very passionate about the history and his town. We would recommend this home to anyone who is in the area.
