We had the most wonderful stay at this gorgeous homey retreat in the hills. Kristina went above and beyond to help us with local recommendations as my partner was working and wifi on the island is touch and go. She supported us with a long list of options, and was kind and responsive throughout our stay. Their gorgeous doggos made the stay all the more special, but nothing can really top just how incredible the house itself is. They’ll remind you that you can’t miss the sunsets and really, the best spot on the island to watch the entirety of the colours change the sky. We did experience a number of brown outs but that went beyond their control, and added to our peaceful disconnect. They had solar lamps and candles, but to know in case that would be an issue for you. Overall the most incredible stay and we can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. A means of locomotion is required (scooter or car), but the situation is nevertheless very good. Special mention for the small restaurant a short walk to the house, where lunch is excellent. We highly recommend this listing for a relaxing stay in Siquijor.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful.If you have kids there is a huge yard to play in and a pool.The accommodation is like new and spotless. Has 3 split a/c units,one in each room,you will not be hot.The kitchenette was very useful and has a big fridge/freezer.The Dauin market is only a couple k's away.Handy if you have a scooter ,the hosts can help with that.Diving is nearby.

location was fantastic, right by all the dive shops (Bongo Bongo specifically) and around the corner from two great restaurants (Jardin and Sabbies food hub). The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the air conditioning worked well however the shower didn't have hot water. this was not an issue as it was so hot anyway but just a note. the pool was a welcome relief too. overall if you are in Dauin to dive as there is nothing else to do and the beach is disgusting, is recommend this accommodation.

My friend and I booked this place to prep for our MA thesis defense. It’s quiet, the internet is fast, and it was a great spot to focus. We didn’t stay overnight, but we had a pleasant time. The host was super responsive and everything was just like in the listing.

A wonderful place to stay. Great communication. Folks at the sari sari store next door were super friendly and helpful. Good kitchen setup. A couple of decent beach accesses close by. Almost always a trike on the road to give an inexpensive lift to wherever you would like to go. I would definitely stay again.

The place is much bigger than expected, very clean with excellent water supply. Location is peaceful and quiet, close to Valencia town center, about 20 mins drive to Dumaguete city proper and walking distance to Tejeros nature park. You will definitely love the place if you are a nature lover as trees abounds. Casaroro falls is not too far away however, for our safety we were not allowed to go as it was rainy when we were there.

Lovely host who also organised a day trip around the island. Also responsive. Only confusing thing was the location of the actual place because it is not on an official road but more of a walk inwards. Best to meet at the fruitshop she works at which is on the main road.

It was easily accessible to the city, the caretaker and the host was quick to respond for a sudden short stay.

Gav's Abode is a hidden gem that is bang for the buck ! . We were a group of friends from Manila and need a stay in Dumaguete, check in are super flexible that Sir Donn allowed us to leave our luggages at around 9:00 am. The place was very spacious and didn’t even need to use the attic room because the ground floor bedrooms were huge and super comfy. It’s the perfect spot for groups looking to hang out, relax, and enjoy a stylish space together. Highly, highly recommend!

Despite Nova being abroad, her Aunt Rhea stepped in admirably, managing the property with care and ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. The house have 5 rooms, with one featuring air conditioning and a well-functioning refrigerator, that room also have peaceful back balcony which is my favorite place at the house and perfect for unwinding. A big plus also is the availability of 3 bathrooms, two on the basement level and one upstairs, adds to the convenience, Although the property's distance from the city proper is noticeable. Transportation, however, becomes less of an issue with a scooter or car rental. Water supply can be intermittent, but Nova's aunt efficiently provides solutions like reserve water buckets. Minor inconveniences can be seen as negligible, especially in light of the incredible bargain offered by the rent. Thanks for your warm welcome and I'm excited to return soon!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean, and cozy home—perfect for our family of five. The hosts went the extra mile to provide hotel-like amenities, and everything was well-prepared for our comfort. Julius was very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. The bed linens and towels smelled fresh and clean, which we really appreciated. Our kids loved the short walk to the beach and had fun with a quick swim at the clubhouse pool. The house is in a peaceful corner lot, which made our stay even more relaxing. Highly recommended for families looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway.

Honeylet’s place was exactly as described. A lovely and gracious home set in the peaceful suburbs. Her staff were incredibly helpful and met our every need. We hope to be able to come back to this paradise soon.
