We loved our stay in Conifer Cottage. I particularly loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds and rabbits.

This place is an absolute gem. Right in the beautiful forest, filled with wildlife, privacy & an overall great experience. From the moment you arrive you feel calm & at home. The accommodation was great & homely with the gas fire heater which was a nice touch during the cold periods there. Sassafras had great restaurants etc, plus the local people are so kind & inviting to tourists, I've never been to a town where everyone is so pleasant & happy! Not to mention the hosts of this airbnb are incredibly kind, generous with their welcome packs & communication was perfect! It was also a pleasant treat to be greeted by kookaburras, Rosella's & parrots each morning on the balcony! I highly recommend this airbnb & location!

What a little gem of a place! Absolutely loved the Provincial cottage at Belle Le Vie. It looks exactly as the photos and description. It was super clean, cosy and comfy. With a forest view, very private from nearby cottages, you could hear the birds and rustling of the trees. The place has netflix to enjoy at your leisure and the spa was great for two people. Breakfast was also a nice touch, with home made loaf of bread, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, milk, tea & Map pod coffee machine. We will definitely reccommend and return to this goegeous cottage. The stay at Jessica's was very relaxing and perfect for a quiet weekend getaway. The bakehouse down the road is sensational and recommend the forest walking tracks nearby. We look forward to coming back again. Brett & Brooke

We LOVED our stay at White Gum! We felt privileged to experience somewhere so special! The cabin is surrounded by forest and you feel as if you’re completely away from civilisation. There was plenty of firewood to keep the fire and stove going the whole time. It was so peaceful sitting by the fire, reading while listening (and watching) the lyrebirds. We even saw wombats at night! We loved exploring the grounds, even discovering a private waterfall! Being off-grid, we were surprised by the strong wifi and the well-supplied kitchen. The spa and infrared sauna was an extra luxury! We didn’t leave the property at all and left feeling so regenerated! Debi and Jurg were brilliant hosts, welcoming us warmly, giving us a tour of their own sustainable gardens, and even loaning us gumboots! Their guide book was thoughtful and provided lots of local knowledge. Debi’s gifted homemade bread was delicious! This was our favourite Airbnb stay we’ve had and we’ve stayed at many! We will be back!

We had an amazing little getaway at theTimber Top Lodge. The little hut was cozy and beautifully furnished. It had everything you need and more, from games and DVDs, to kitchen condiments and bath salts for the japanese bath. The bath was definitely a highlight, it was just amazing to soak in the hot water after a day out. The fireplace was great too and kept us warm and tosty, the beds were super comfortable and the house was overall very clean and spacious. Another big highlight was the balcony where you could feed the birds in the morning. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend Michaels and Giselle's place to everyone who wants peace and quiet in a beautiful surrounding. Wifi also worked perfectly and Michael and Giselle regularly checked in on us. There was nothing that we would change, we had a great few days. Thanks so much!

Thank you both for the lovely stay. My family and I had a beautiful time. The house was very clean and had a perfect kitchen - had all that you need! Also, very warm. Kids loved the walking and exploring and choosing the marshmallows sticks to toast on fire. The property is at perfect distance for a day trip to the snow. We create so many family memories. Hassan is very friendly and made you feel like your at home. I recommend this place if you like the country type of feel and the kookaburras and birds and seen a few kangaroos of the balcony and was overall a great place. 👍

The log cabin, surroundings and views were amazing. Both rooms comfortably appointed and the kitchen and dining area well laid out and functional. There is a steep gravel driveway leading up to the carport, so if you have a city car, be careful when driving up, especially if it is raining. There’s some steep stairs up to the cabin, but not too much of an issue. The cabin itself is very comfortable and with the ducted heating and fireplace in the lounge room it’s very cozy. The rooms have their own air conditioning to warm things up as well. The views are absolutely stunning especially in the morning. Coffee on the enclosed veranda with those views are definitely worth it. It is a bit of a drive up and down the mountain to get to places, but there are also very nice places close by to get food and breakfast in the morning. There’s a botanical garden nearby in Olinda which is a must see.

I really enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the quiet serenity and privacy offered at Botanica Retreat. The gardens are beautiful offering a very peaceful setting and was exactly what I needed for my break. It’s very close to the village, close to walking paths and has everything you need. It’s very homey, beautifully appointed furniture, linens, decor etc, and Karen offers some really nice touches to make it feel like home. Will definitely be back!

Stayed at this incredible cottage filled with a lovely experience of country living. Stayed with my partner and mate, it was nice and warm and was accommodating. Along with using the outdoor kitchen and fire pit at night to make nights even more memorable. We were welcomed every morning with animals gracing the paddocks

I had a lovely stay at Elizabeth's spotless cottage on a wet and cold weekend. The cottage was very warm and the bed comfortable. I did the LaLa Falls walk which was easily accessible from the cottage. The kitchen was well appointed with olive oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee and milk. The host was available for any queries but also respected my privacy. I highly recommend this place.

Hey!! Just thought I’d leave a little review for this beautiful property. My best friend and I came here for a little disconnect from reality and couldn’t have wished for anything better! It was wholesome, clean and so peaceful. Full of excellent amenities and the host even asked us what our milk preference was! I highly recommend to anybody considering!

Our two nights at the cabin were relaxing and rejuvenating. The space was cozy and clean. The deck and front courtyard provided lots of space to lounge, eat, read, and just enjoy the view and unwind. The kitchen was well provisioned and it was great to also have a bbq to use. The living room has a good sized tv with high speed internet and a great selection of dvds to watch. James also provided many recommendations on hikes and walks to do in the area.

As we were guests at a wedding with an early start Grace was very accommodating. Very cosy and comfortable . Thankyou Grace

My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The surrounding forest was beautiful and looked stunning from the cozy stone cottage on a cold, foggy winters morning. The cottage was well provisioned and beautifully decorated, including a pot belly which created an even more romantic atmosphere. Andrew and his wife are fantastic hosts, welcoming us to the property and ensuring we had everything we needed. The location of the accomodation was fantastic as while being in a secluded forest setting with tree ferns and lyrebirds it was also a short drive to Healesville and surrounding wineries, restaurants and other tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend staying in Andrews stone cottage and hope to visit again soon.
