In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. Keepers Bothy

A beautifully converted 270 year old gamekeepers bothy set within the grounds of Ullinish House. Perfect space for couples looking to relax, explore and hike the Isle of Skye. Located 20 minutes from Portree and halfway between Dunvegan castle and the Fairy pools. The bothy is small (10sqm) but it has everything you need for your stay. This includes a shower room with toiletries, a sofa next to the wood burning stove and a mezzanine bed accessed by ladder. There are no cooking facilities.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

The master bedroom with en suite shower room/toilet is on the ground floor with a view over the Loch and a small double and a single upstairs. There is also another toilet downstairs. In view of the bed/bathroom facilities the house is perhaps best suited to either a couple/a couple with younger children.
