Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Loup of Fintry, The loch lomand National Park and the Trossachs are all a short drive away.The village has a pub and a hotel both serving meals Its a great place to be based as there are plenty country walks , Mugdock country park. The Strath, a quiet home from home.

The Strath in Killearn is a delightful country home. The cosy seating area with wood burning stove opens into the kitchen and dining area. A large lounge with original fireplace is accessed through double doors. The kitchen doors provide access to the garden area, sheltered by surrounding trees. The two available comfortable double bedrooms upstairs provide views across the hills and countryside. A bathroom with bath and shower upstairs is complimented by the additional bathroom downstairs.

Altquhur Cottage

Altquhur Cottage is in a beautiful location with stunning views over the Campsie Fells, 10 minutes by car to the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond. The cottage is set on a farm with horses, cows and sheep in the surrounding fields and hens roaming around outside the garden. The cottage has a spacious dining kitchen, cosy living room with wood burning stove and comfortable sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom and utility room. There is a fully enclosed garden with outdoor furniture.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.
