What a wonderful place to escape to. A beautiful home, amazing views, wonderful pool and hot tub. Very clean and well cared for. Saavas was incredibly helpful and friendly & accommodating. Can’t fault it at all. In fact I feel very lucky to have found these four nights as it’s booked up way in advance normally. A tiny piece of paradise. Taverna was closed next door but that just made it more peaceful (maybe noisier if open but still private) - such an interesting time of year before the season started - watching all the Greeks get everything ready for the season! Pool was cold but the hot tub was amazing and warm so was a great balance. Easter was a lovely time to visit especially as very lucky with the weather. Did get eaten alive the first night so beware of mosquitos but we found the special plugs, & were more cautious after that. Maybe it was early season, maybe the recent rain. Loved the Swallows and house martins that flew over for a period morning and evening Perfect…

Amazing place

I had a wonderful stay at this house. It’s located in a quiet countryside setting, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of the stay was definitely the jacuzzi and sauna, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Manuela's. She is a very welcoming person who receives in her peaceful and charming place. The place is representative of what an Airbnb rental should be, i.e. welcome, small touches that facilitate arrival, daily presence and personalized, authentic home. Manuella communicates very well in French: constructive exchanges. Always good advice, Manuela also knows how to be discreet in this accommodation where the houses are glued and share common spaces. The location is ideal for visiting Matera and the coast near Bari by car. We 100% recommend Manuela

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations – even more beautiful than in the pictures. Quiet, private location with idyllic surroundings, yet all important places are quickly accessible. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would come back right away.

Daniels cottage was great. It is located on a meadow in the middle of a forest in the hills and is extremely quiet and peaceful. A perfect place for relax and rest. All was exactly as listed and described.

We had a great time in Podkum. The location was really beautiful, beautiful surroundings and a lovely garden to sit in. The kitchen was very well equipped in terms of equipment and crockery. The bedrooms had nice beds and we didn't miss anything. Lilijana took us to the house, was extremely flexible and hospitable. In short, a must if you like peace, nature and quiet in a comfortable and cozy home.

We were two with a dog for 7 nights at Franzes. The location of the accommodation is quiet and perfect, with a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of privacy. The house is rustic and tastefully furnished, it really has everything you need for a great vacation. The entire lower floor, including three areas in the outdoor area, was only for us. It was particularly nice that there are fresh eggs from the chickens every day, which you can collect yourself. Frances is a calm, likeable and very friendly hostess who was always there for us. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back. For travelers with dogs, it should also be mentioned that the accommodation is very dog-friendly. There are meadows around the house, so the dogs have a lot of freedom. Everything was well prepared and it was very nice - both for us and for our four-legged friend.

This villa is absolutely beautiful. It is better than the pictures even show! The views are incredible and everything is so tranquil. There is one restaurant within walking distance, but with scooter rental and taxis, everything was accessible. Valentino was a great host and helped us with whatever we needed (restaurant reservation, taxis, etc). It is a beautifully maintained property and I highly recommend staying here!

Codrin is a gentleman host, generous with his hospitality and local knowledge. To find gems like this one—surrounded by beauty, and tucked closely among genuine working people living their lives—is the reason we travel. We’re grateful to have stayed here.

Matej is a fantastic host – incredibly attentive and kind without ever being intrusive. He made sure we had everything we needed, gave us great tips for local activities, and even gifted us a bottle of his homemade wine. The accommodation isn’t huge, but it’s beautifully designed with handcrafted furniture that adds a lot of charm. The location is simply stunning – we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, relaxing on the terrace in the Jacuzzi, and the view from the sauna is absolutely unbeatable. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful, with lots of nature to explore and peaceful scenery all around. On top of that, the people in the region are exceptionally warm and welcoming – we felt right at home. We truly didn’t miss a thing. Highly recommend!

A lovely little house overlooking Alyki. We loved the views from the terraces and the wood burning stove kept us warm during some of the colder evenings.

This is such a cute lovely house. Its rustic but full of character. We had everything we needed (not just toiletries but also beach necessities, SuP board and bikes). We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine everyday at the little 'beach' infront of the house. We had dinner everyday at Maori tavern 1min away. Wifi is ok and stable (if you want to work remotely). Will definitely come back!

This is the most beautiful Airbnb for two we have ever stayed in. It matches the photos, and has multiple amenities (washing machine, parasol and diving masks, a very pleasant outdoor area in which to have a good time). Its location makes it perfect for feeling truly on vacation and resting. We were on foot, and access to the city remains fast (15 minutes to the port), and the accommodation is very close to the bus line (a stop is ten minutes away and we could ask the driver to stop at the house). Finally, the host was very kind and responsive. He provided us with plenty of information about bus schedules, bike rental services, etc. I highly recommend this accommodation if you want to enjoy a wonderful Airbnb experience!

Even though we arrived late (classic lost tourists!), Serafim was very accommodating, kind, available, and welcoming. The house is beautifully decorated, full of charm and attention to detail, and set in the middle of a peaceful olive grove. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket, and there’s also an adorable dog on the property that made the stay even sweeter. The region is stunning, and we truly can’t wait to come back!

This was an incredible place! Just as it is in the photos has everything from a coffee maker to coffee pods to mugs and everything. We also loved how clean it was, you can tell there's a lot of effort and thought put in this place. The host was very quick in replies and very helpful. Would definitely want to stay here again. the kindness the Evelyn and her daughter showed was beyond what I expected. They were so kind! This location was literally a dream! The winding roads lined by flowers up to this beautiful home took my breath away. It was so nice to have a private pool to relax at after a hard day at one of the most clean, Crystal clear beaches in the world. It is impossible to choose a bad restaurant in the area. Only thing I will say is that a rental car is a must here, but totally worth it! I could not have asked for a better experience and I WILL be back!

Paxos is an unspoilt Greek island with stunning beaches and a relaxed vibe. We stayed at Villa Anatoli in Paxos Sunrise Villas, hosted by the wonderful Antonia. The villa was immaculate, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with everything needed for a home-away-from-home experience—including an abundance of kitchenware for food lovers. The outdoor space was fantastic, with a private veranda, alfresco dining patio, and an easy-to-use barbecue. Mary’s daily cleaning, complete with towel sculptures, was a lovely touch. The resort’s beach setup was exceptional, with sturdy sun loungers, built-in shades, and seamless integration into the landscape. Water shoes are recommended for the rocky seabed. Gaios is a 15-minute walk away, and rental transport from Antonia made exploring easy. Thoughtful extras like a herb garden, quality towels, air conditioning, and electric shutters enhanced the stay. Antonia’s hospitality, from port transfers to surprise bottled water, made our stay bliss!

A beautiful haven of tranquility. We loved Ivan’s place, amazing views from the big windows and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a Montenegrin coffee watching the birds. The stars at night were spectacular. In close proximity to Zabljak but far enough away to have total peace. We enjoyed driving the Durmitor ring, swimming in the black lake and visiting Tara River Canyon for rafting. Durmitor certainly has a piece of our hearts and Ivan’s place was the perfect base to explore.

We have just returned from 10 wonderful nights at Villa Marianthi Wow what an amazing stay we had! The Villa is very comfortable and it has the most amazing dreamy views. It is in a very peaceful, secluded and quiet spot surrounded by olive trees.. The pool area was fantastic along with the barbecue.. Eirini and Dora are the most warm friendly and lovely ladies, they made us feel very welcome! we will be returning next year… and I should imagine every year after that too!

The Herb Garden was an absolute piece of Heaven. Peaceful, its own personal pool, a sojourn of quietude and tranquility.
