Enjoyed staying in Martin's home - it has AMAZING views over the fjord and mountains - really peaceful with the midnight light. The place is spacious - a good kitchen - well positioned dining table for yet more views and a great lounge area. We are a family of seven and fitted easily and didn't feel crowded at all. Martin's instructions were clear and easy to follow - all very simple! Thanks Martin.

Our stay at this beautiful hut was the highlight of our Norway trip. The hut is equipped with everything needed for a longer stay and the surrounding area is stunning and peaceful. In our short time, we were able to explore the local trails to the nearby beaches, see a moose directly from the window, catch and cook an arctic cod — all of it in just 2 nights. John-Karstein was very welcoming and has clearly put a lot of passion into building a very authentic and unique staying experience. We wish we could spend a longer time and will certainly be back for longer next time.

I lived here in connection with work, but have kept the place in my memory to be able to come back on holiday and stay longer.

Fantastic great cabin. Very nice location and that view. Very clean and well maintained. Well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, we had a lot of wind, then it was great to be able to sit in the great garden room. Tonje and Terje responded quickly to questions, are incredibly helpful, also the tip about the hiking area. We brought two 17 year olds and two 13 year olds. It was low under the ceiling in the loft but our boys thought it was great to be there. A plus was that there was poor internet, so the boys had to come up with other things: play in the garden, trampoline, go fishing, paddle with sub. We had an amazing long weekend here, would highly recommend.

Amazing seaview! Location was totally peaceful and suitable for enjoying nature, Västerålen and even Lofoten. Easy to drive eg. to whalesafari in Andenes. The cottage was functional, cozy and well equipped. Irene communicated well and quickly. She even informed us about night-time road closure, which was essential to us. We had totally relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful stay here! It's in a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by nature. The space was cozy, clean, and Monica and Knut were friendly and quick to respond to any questions!

Beautiful place right out in the ocean gap, Lofotveggen next! Incredible views outside and inside the cabin! We saw the sea eagle, otter, fox and many birds, we fished and bathed on the beautiful Bø beach right next to it. There is a lot to experience nearby. The cabin had everything we needed and the beds were good! Thor was a helpful host! Only good things to say about the cabin, the place and him!

Wonderful place and great hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay! The contact with Marte's father was very friendly – he provided us with great tips about the area. The cottage itself was sparkling clean, well furnished and equipped with everything you need – including a grill, which we enjoyed very much. The view was simply breathtaking and made the stay perfect. Clear recommendation!

Absolutely perfect host and accommodations. Morten was very responsive and helpful even when I had to extend my stay a few days. House had everything you needed. Shower was great. Views were out of this world. Very comfortable and welcoming house. Highly recommend.

Of the 40 countries I've visited, I think this is the most beautiful Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The view of the fjord is breathtaking, the stream enchanting, we are really away from the world in a positive way. The interior is very cozy, there is a great hike to do at the bottom of the fjord. There was plenty of drinking water in the fridge and it was very easy to get water from the stream for showering/dishes. The kitchen could be a little better equipped (no oil, vinegar, etc.)

Incredibly beautiful location with amazing views. Large and spacious house. Well-equipped kitchen. We got two days of warm and sunny weather and then it was magical to swim in the sea from our own sandy beach. Then a little worse weather but still a lovely and unusual holiday. Recommended for those who want to live in and enjoy nature. We saw eagle from the kitchen window. Please consider that it is a 45 minute drive to the nearest grocery store so planning is important.

We had a great stay in the hut - it was super cozy (fireplace and candles) and exactly what we expected based on the description. We loved the wood-fired sauna (even saw nothern lights!) as well as the location of the hut: surrounded by birch forest which was great for snow shoe walks, we even saw reindeers. Kitchen was equipped very well so we could cook for ourselves. Would recommend and love to come again!

The cabin was very nice, with good beds, and everything we needed. Fantastic location, proximity and view of the fjord! I would have liked to stay there longer! Recommended!

A really nice and comfortable cabin.

The house is very nicely located as seen in the pictures. The house was clean, very well equipped and nothing was missing. In the kitchen, all utensils were provided and were in good condition. The loading of the car worked very well. Geir was immediately available for questions and took care of our well-being in the background (winter service ordered, weather information shared). Check-in is contactless thanks to the number code on the door and at any time. There are plenty of options to explore in the area. Even in bad weather, you didn't get bored thanks to smart TV and sauna and playing. Overall, our stay was beautiful and absolutely recommended.
