Lake house holiday rentals in Bantam Lake

Our getaway for the weekend was perfect! We enjoyed the home, pond and a nearby preserve for a hike. Thank you for the stay!

What a wonderful stay! We loved the location - beautiful view of the lake. House is very comfortable, clean, and easy to get to. Tracie and Sean were excellent in communicating everything we needed to know to have an enjoyable stay. We'll be back again with life jackets and fishing poles so we can enjoy some time on the lake!

The house was even more beautiful and quaint than the photos. The weather was a bit chilly and they made sure the heat was on prior to our arrival. Caring, responsive, and helpful hosts. Definitely recommend.

Adam's place was the perfect location for our annual spring fishing trip. Plenty of space for everyone to relax their own way let still be connected to the group. Kitchen is well equipped for anything you would want to cook with other extras like coffee maker and blender. It's a short walk to the docks which makes fishing for a full day convenient to take breaks / have lunch etc. The boathouse is a nice added amenity which allows storage of coolers, drinks and ice which is also very close proximity to the fire pit. We are already looking forward to next year's trip.

After using Airbnb for years now no other place was a perfect 10. The lake house was simply great. Not only the physical status but the follow up and generosity of the hosts where beyond. We didn’t want to leave.

We loved our stay here! It was the perfect spot for us (3 adults), but would still be comfortable with more guests. I would also recommend it for extended stays. It was very spacious, clean, and thoughtfully set up. We loved the privacy of the location and its beautiful yard and pond, while still being a quick drive into the town of Rhinebeck. We would definitely stay here again!

Meredith’s house is absolutely great. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and living room, very spacious. It is adjacent to a very tranquil river and has a big back yard. Getting into the area was a bit difficult due to some serious roadwork, but once we were there, it was splendid. Meredith is super responsive and a great host. Would come back!

Very rustic, private, peaceful kind of like a camp but with air conditioning and excellent wifi. Bald eagle sat over the lake outside. Kayaks were fun. Tons of great hikes and historical things to see. Town of Great Barrington and Sheffield have great antiquing both high and low end. I would go back any time.

Glenda was friendly and had great communication from Start to Finish. This was a nice location for a family fun weekend. Although the drive is close enough to stores if you need anything (target/stopnshop/bjs etc), the property is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The yard is a great place to hang out and relax with the fire pit or have fun in the pool. And when the weather was crappy the pool table and hanging out in the basement den was nice. Everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. We enjoyed the space and would definitely recommend. Thanks again! 😊

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Mitchell was very responsive and communication was easy. The house is near butternut and GB. Hopefully we will come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors.

The location suited our needs perfectly. It was close to our Jehovah’s Witness facility in Patterson NY. We had a morning tour which made it very convenient, only 20 minutes away. We not only enjoyed the peaceful quietness, we were also able to do a little fishing at the boat docks right on the property of Candlewood Isle and caught a few fish.☺️

Michael's place was exactly what we needed - beautiful, tranquil and quiet. The lake was great to sit next to and look at. The weather was a little cold so not conducive to swimming but I would have definitely gone for a swim if it were warmer. Instead, we spent a lazy afternoon playing records and reading. The grill was convenient (and clean) - we grilled our dinners both nights. And, of course, there was a cute bunny hopping around in the front without a care in the world!

We had an amazing relaxing weekend. The beds are comfy, pool heated, quiet serene area. All around perfect weekend getaway. The house was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed.

Although I had difficulty of checking in the house, my family had wonderful and happy memories ! I'll be back for sure!!! Thank you very much!^..^

The location was peaceful and beautiful with great local restaurants, farms, and hiking. The reservoir was a nice amenity with the kayaks and canoe. The house was well maintained and comfortable with pretty views on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay at the property. It is on a charming location of the lake across the channel from a small wooded island. The home's common spaces were great for gathering and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. I would recommend this to any group who wants a lake side experience with a comfortable house.

I had such a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, but still quiet and peaceful for a relaxing getaway. Waking up and drinking coffee with the beautiful view of Candlewood lake was breathtaking. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend anyone to stay here. I would also recommend you to take your boat or even rent one near by,absolutely incredible!!!

We had an amazing stay! David was quick to respond with any questions I had and even came out to hook up the propane tank for the heated pool. I saw in previous reviews about the tricky driveway but David’s description of it is perfectly accurate and not any trouble, just a little steep but nothing super tricky to deal with! The house has a beautiful setup and view, very clean and so much space. Even though it was cold and rainy we had the most fun and peaceful stay at this home. The bride of the bachelorette group said she wants to book with David on her own just for another stay/get-a-way! Highly recommend this beautiful space!

This was our second stay at the house and we will continue to return. Beautiful, clean, well-stocked home and responsive host. Tina even accommodated an early check in and late check out so our trip could go smoothly with baby nap and event schedules. Highly recommend.
