A Quiet Nest-Green room: view of Kangchenjunga (3)

Md InzamamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing 2-night stay at this lovely homestay in Lebong. Located in the serene outskirts of Darjeeling, it was the perfect escape from the rushed crowd and noise of the main town. The surroundings were quiet, green, and absolutely beautiful, ideal for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight, simple, tasty, and truly home-like. We also enjoyed exploring the local area and soaking in the peaceful vibes. If you're looking for a calm, authentic experience away from the touristy chaos, this homestay is a gem. Highly recommended, and we’d definitely love to return!

Nimantrana Homestay

JoyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Its a great place and great hospitality by Swarnim and Family. The surroundings are beautiful. The only concern is the off road at the end to reach the property.Only a Tata Sumo can reach near the property, other vehicles won’t make it.The off road can scare you specially if you are travelling with elders or children. And there is a little hiking needed to reach the property. If the off road and the little hike is not a problem then the property is an ideal place to sit around and enjoy the mountains. Rooms are clean, also they will do cleaning and arrangements as per request. There are 3 connected bedrooms and a separate room. Room size is a bit small but should not be a concern. Kitchen is downstairs and the living as well.A bit stiff stairs. Overall a very nice property if you want to enjoy silence and nature. Also a good wfm destination.Hospitality is great, they will cook homely and tasty foods. leaches might be a concern outside in rainy seasons, though its common in Darjeeling.

Golden Peko(Rhododerdron):Views, trails

MohitRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were looking for a quiet corner in Darjeeling - away from the bustle and chaos of the Mall Road. Gurjeeb's place is perfect for that. It's located about 3 km away from the Mall Road, which gives it the kind of quiet and serenity we were after. One needs to drive about a minute down from the main road and then take a flight of stairs to reach Gurjeeb's place so if you want very easy accessibility, this is something you should consider. But the property itself is worth the effort. The room in the attic is big and pretty, with all basic amenities available. A special shoutout to Gurjeeb's cousin Sujan who looked after us very well and took care of all our needs. He helped us get our luggage up and down the property - which would have been a hassle otherwise - and made amazing local food for us. The Happy Valley Tea Estate is a 10-minute walking distance from here and it's quaint, quiet and amazing. Loved the overall vibe of the place and will love to return in the future.

Norbu Gakyil ནོར་བུ་དགའ་འཁྱིལ

SamarthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had the most amazing time at Norbu Gokyil in Darjeeling! The place is super peaceful, tucked away just enough from the town to feel calm but still close enough to everything. The best part though was the lovely family hosting us — all four of them were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet. You really feel like you’re staying with friends rather than just renting a place. They were always happy to help, whether it was with local tips or just chatting over tea. And their three adorable dogs made the stay even better — super friendly and so cute! The room was clean, cozy, and perfect to come back to after a day of exploring. The food was also really good and homely — just what you’d want in a place like this. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, heartwarming stay in Darjeeling. Already missing it!

The Little Paradise Kalimpong - Jasmine

JibanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jyoti's place was really nice, a little further from the noise of city center, into the picturesque wilderness. We had a really nice stay for couple of days. They have a restaurant with the place where the food is awesome and the people (Niteshji and team) are absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place.

Emerald Hills Homestay

The property is located in the mid of a tea garden. Beautiful place. Perfect for spending some time in the midst of lush green scenic beauty. On top of it Rebika is an awesome host. She took care of us very well. Approaching road is not perfect. But it's worth the trouble once you reach the place.

Daarapari - The art of Slow Living

ElinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Where to begin… Staying at Sristi’s farm was such an authentic and unforgettable experience. I had the chance to live alongside Sristi and her lovely family, and it gave me a genuine glimpse into their way of life. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home — Sristi has such a warm, welcoming energy, and we connected really naturally. She quickly felt more like a friend than a host. We shared some amazing moments together, including a trip to a beautiful river. There’s so much to do around the farm — whether you’re in the mood for hiking, exploring the nearby village (don’t miss the best samosa in West Sikkim!), or simply unwinding and soaking in the peaceful nature all around. And I can’t forget to mention the food — absolutely delicious, every single meal! Needless to say, I highly recommend staying here. It’s a special place, and one I’ll carry with me for a long time. Thank you Sristi!!! Until next time 🫶🏼
