Holiday rentals with a kayak in Baraga County

My family and I had a wonderful time here. There were 5 adults and 3 kids and we were all comfortable! We hit a couple minor snags but the host was fast to respond and very helpful. We had some trouble checking out on time and the host was friendly and accommodating about it. We would definitely stay here again!

Lynn’s home was the perfect mix of luxury and privacy. We attended our daughter’s NMU graduation and wanted a place to relax and celebrate with her. Lynn’s was immaculate. The bedrooms were comfy and made rest easy. The kitchen was well appointed and allowed us to cook together and fellowship. Definitely a place to return!

I am convinced that Michigamme is one of the most beautiful places on the earth. In early May, the lake was glassy calm and quiet. The home was clean and very comfortable, with spectacular views and plenty of room for our family. It was perfect for our needs. Thanks so much for having us!

This is a warm, old farm house on a beautiful property. My son set up his tent next to the pond on the property too. The house is clean, charming, and comfortable. Nancy has filled it with historical photos from the area <3 The kitchen is equipped with cookware and dishes, along with a fridge to fill with your own items. Houghton is a 15 minute drive up the road with a grocery store and restaurants. So you're in the woods but close to town. There are some great trails on the property, but there are also some spectacular falls within a 20 minute drive. We felt right at home and hated to leave! Thank you for the spectacular stay Nancy!!

We had a wonderful stay! Kathleen’s directions were spot on so it was easy to find, even though we arrived after dark. It was a beautiful house and much bigger than we realized. It was very convenient for access to Michigan Tech, where our daughter had an event. It was clean, well kept and we’d definitely go back. Our only regret was that we didn’t have enough time to go for a walk with the snow shoes!

Our stay was great, very peaceful and super easy instructions to follow. Overall we had a great time and would stay again and/or recommend others stay. Hosts were pleasant and the home was clean.

This is a wonderful house for a base to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. It is in a very quiet location overlooking a gorgeous bay with amazing sunrises. All amenities were as listed and worked well...especially the internet. The beds were very comfortable. There were more than enough dishes, etc. Jodi was very responsive and accommodating when a minor problem occurred. We particularly enjoyed our tour of the Quincy Copper Mine. We found a fresh fish store about 20 miles south (Freddy's) and Petersons across from the mine (20 miles north).

if you have ATVs this is the place. very close to atv trails.

The Yonder House is full of warm, nostalgic ambience! I so enjoyed my stay here while my husband worked the LSPR Rally. It was exactly what I was looking for and the description and photos are spot on! It was very clean and the friendly host has thought of everything you might need. We were able to connect to the internet when needed to check in on work back home. It was a treat to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book in the comfy recliner and take in the filtered views of a beautiful little lake. The fall colors were breathtaking this year and I hope to be back next year! Thank you Patrick, for sharing your little slice of heaven up here in the beautiful U.P.

Great accommodations, great location, great host!

Once again, we had a great stay at RLR! the hosts are always amazing and provide anything you could need during your stay. Our kids love the beach and sauna area and there and lots of floats, paddle boards and kayaks to use. They even allowed us use of the pontoon, which was so generous. This is our 3rd year visiting and Dax and David have done a beautiful job on the resort. New decks, new air conditioner and fridge in the rooms and a nice deck surrounding the fire pit...every time we go there is something that has been upgraded. Definitely recommend staying with them.

Beautiful place. We made use of fire pit and enjoyed the house, didn't go out on the lake but that is an option. Very quiet with great indoors and outdoors. Rebecca was responsive and helpful with our questions. Everything worked well. Recommend fall when leaves are changing - so beautiful with the lake, northern lights, and colorful trees. We got lucky and had a few crazy nights of Northern lights. I think the place is as advertised - takes a while to get there but it's very nice and we would stay again.

Beautiful spot and got snow overnight. Would come back in a heart beat!

We had the most magical time staying on Pinecrest Northwoods to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! The cabin was so charming & cozy. We enjoyed walking around the woods. The sauna house was a dream & so relaxing. The stargazing at night was unreal, we could see the Milky Way & were in awe! Michael & Madeleine were the sweetest hosts, the kind of souls that feel like your friends. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!

This was an amazing vacation from start to finish. Amanda went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. I am so hopeful that we can make time to back during the summer season to kayak and put our feet in the lake. Felt like an extension of home. Thank you so much!

The place was peaceful, spotless, cozy, and truly felt like home, but what made our stay extra special was their genuine kindness and care. When we had an unexpected accident during our trip, they didn’t just check in, they STEPPED IN. They went above and beyond in ways we’ll never forget. Their warmth and thoughtfulness turned a difficult situation into something we’ll always be grateful for. It’s rare to find hosts who care so deeply, not just about the space they share, but about the people staying in it. We left with full hearts, sweet memories, and a deep appreciation for their kindness. We can’t wait to return again someday.
